Brooks scored 10 points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT) to go along with three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 22 minutes Saturday against the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Brooks should see plenty of playing time for as long as it takes for Derrick Rose (left orbital fracture) to return. Brooks likely will see limited playing time when Rose is healthy, but he is a valuable member of the Bulls' bench considering how often Rose has been injured.

Brooks signed a one-year deal with the Bulls. Brooks appeared in all 82 regular season games, but with Derrick Rose expected to be healthy next season, Brooks will remain in a backup role with the Bulls

Brooks and the Bulls agreed to terms Tuesday on a one-year deal, ESPN's Marc Stein reports. Brooks will return to Chicago on a one-year deal after appearing in all 82 games last season and averaging 11.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. With Derrick Rose returning as the unquestioned starting point guard, Brooks will again slot in as the backup.

Brooks played in all 82 games for the Bulls this season and averaged 11.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.5 three-pointers a game. Brooks had a great season for the Bulls as he averaged more than 10 points a game for the first time since the 2010-11 season. The Bulls seem to have a way of reviving the careers of small point guards and Brooks was no exception. He heads into the summer as a free agent and might be headed for a bigger payday as he only made the minimum this season. The Bulls have some cap issues, so Brooks might be moving on to a new team. He fantasy value will largely be determined by where he ends up signing.

Brooks has averaged 9.0 points, 2.0 assists and 2.0 three-pointers in the first two games of the playoffs for the Bulls. Brooks has provided a nice spark off the bench for the Bulls despite only averaging 15 minutes a game. With Derrick Rose finally healthy, expect Brooks to have a limited role.

Brooks scored 16 points (6-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt) with five rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block in 33 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Raptors. Brooks continues to post solid numbers, and he should remain a fantasy asset for the rest of the season, unless Derrick Rose is able to make a return from his latest knee injury.

Brooks scored 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with 10 assists in 33 minutes during Monday's win over the Hornets. Jimmy Butler's return from a knee injury seemed to help Brooks settle into the point guard role on Monday, but don't expect this kind of production from him every night. He's averaging 17.7 points, 4.6 assists and 1.3 threes over his last nine games.

Brooks caught fire again Friday against the Hornets, posting 24 points (9-17 FG, 3-5 FT, 3-7 3Pt), two rebounds, and four assists in 34 minutes of action. Brooks has been on fire of late, averaging 23.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 three-pointers made over the last four games. He's an obvious asset in fantasy as long as Derrick Rose (knee) is out. Given his situation, Brooks may keep this up until the end of the season.

Brooks scored a game-high 31 points (12-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT) with five assists and four rebounds in 37 minutes during Wednesday's OT win over the 76ers. He's starting to find his groove, averaging 22.7 points, 4.0 assists, 3.3 boards and 1.7 threes over his last three games. Brooks should remain a solid play down the stretch, even with Derrick Rose (knee) optimistic that he'll be able to return to action this season.

Brooks put up six points (2-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt) to go with three rebounds and seven assists in 24 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday. Brooks and Kirk Hinrich (23 minutes) essentially shared the point guard minutes Thursday. However, it was E'Twaun Moore that stole the show, eating into their playing time. With both Jimmy Butler (elbow) and Derrick Rose (knee) out for the immediate future, the Bulls backcourt is seriously depleted, but Brooks' status as a starter and playing time should be closely monitored in case Moore or Hinrich continue to steal his minutes.
