Darvish (7-5) struck out 12 and allowed just one run over six innings in a victory over the Rays on Friday. He also yielded just three hits and one walk.
EDGE Analysis
Since getting tagged for seven runs in five innings against the Athletics on Sept. 17, Darvish has given up just one run and struck out 21 batters in his last 13 frames. He's allowed just seven base runners during that stretch. Darvish finishes the regular season with a 3.41 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 132 strikeouts in 100.1 innings.

Darvish (6-5) fired seven innings of scoreless, two-hit ball in Saturday's 5-0 victory over the A's. He walked one and struck out nine.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish looked like a completely different pitcher than the one the A's had battered for seven runs on seven hits and four walks last Saturday. He displayed impeccable control, getting 67 of his 99 pitches into the strike zone and inducing a whopping 18 swinging strikes. The 30-year-old has quality starts in two of his last three trips to the mound and will try to finish the regular season in winning form against the Rays next Friday.

Darvish (5-5) allowed seven runs on seven hits and four walks Saturday while striking out eight over five innings in a 11-2 loss against Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
It was all downhill for Darvish after he allowed a leadoff home run to Joey Wendle to start the game and then ran into jams in the second, third and fifth innings. He's now given up five or more runs and seven hits in two of his three September starts. While these implosions are having a negative effect on his ERA and WHIP, the Japanese right-hander is still an elite K artist, striking out 27.7 percent of hitters on the month and 30.2 percent for the second half of the season.

Darvish's next start has been moved to Saturday against the A's, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers are lining up their postseason rotation while also giving Darvish some extra rest. He lines up behind Cole Hamels, who starts Friday -- a preview of how the Rangers will deploy their top two starters in October. This works out well for Darvish's owners, as he faces a mediocre A's offense at home instead of a talented Astros offense on the road. Derek Holland will start Wednesday in his stead.

Darvish allowed one run on three hits, struck out nine and walked one over 6.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
When he left in the seventh, the game was tied and the go-ahead run for the Angels was on third base, and it would have been charged to Darvish had it scored. It didn't, allowing Texas to go on to win 2-1. The 30-year-old has struck out at least nine batters six times since the All-Star break. His next start will be Friday against the Angels once again.

Darvish (5-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out four over four innings to take the loss Sunday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
After holding opponents to two or fewer earned runs in eight of his first 10 starts this year, Darvish has now given up at least three earned runs in three straight contests to raise his ERA from 2.75 to 3.45. This is currently the highest ERA he's posted in any of the last three years.

Darvish (5-3) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks with nine strikeouts over 6.2 innings in a win Monday over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish hasn't failed to throw a quality start in his last eight outings, an eight-start span in which he owns a brilliant 62:11 K:BB. He induced 16 swinging strikes over 110 pitches in Monday's start as he had the Mariners off balance all night long. His ERA sits at 3.01 as his only problem this year has been a mild propensity for the home run ball (nine allowed in 12 starts, a 1.1 HR/9).

Darvish threw six innings Wednesday, surrendering five runs (three earned) on four hits and five walks, taking the no-decision against the Reds. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish struggled with his command Wednesday, throwing just 56 of 100 pitches for strikes and walking five. The lack of command is uncharacteristic for Darvish, who had walked just four hitters in his previous six starts combined, a period in which he struck out 48. Yet despite throwing so many balls, Darvish managed to escape with a respectable three earned runs over six innings, keeping his ERA at 2.91 over 11 starts on the season. Although it doesn't count in most leagues, Darvish also hit his first major league home run and the first by a Rangers' pitcher since 1997, giving him at least one reason to smile. He'll next take the mound against the Mariners on Monday.

Darvish (4-3) held the A's to two runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out nine in a winning effort Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Pitchers coming back from Tommy John surgery often struggle to regain their control, but Darvish has looked laser-sharp when on the mound this year. He's issued only four walks while striking out 48 batters in his last six starts. The Japanese righty has been a bit prone to the long ball -- both of Wednesday's runs came on solo homers, and he's now given up nine in 59 innings -- but those don't hurt so badly when you're allowing so few baserunners.

Darvish (2-3) allowed no runs on five hits while striking out eight over seven innings, but received no decision Sunday at the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Darivsh left the contest with 3-0 lead, but the bullpen couldn't hold on, wasting his stellar effort. He's yet to allow more than three runs in any game since his return from the disabled list on May 28, and he owns a 2.78 ERA to go along with a 1.06 WHIP on the campaign. He's kept his ERA at or below 3.06 in each of the last three seasons, and he'll be heavily targeted in 2017 fantasy drafts. He'll make his next start Friday against the Tigers.
