Wily Peralta allowed two runs on 11 hits over six innings Wednesday in a loss to the Diamondbacks. Peralta tossed eight scoreless innings against the Reds last week, yielding just three hits and fanning seven batters. He was much more hittable in this one but -- all told -- still did a decent job of limiting the damage. The 24-year-old righty will carry a 2.17 ERA and 1.14 WHIP into his next scheduled start at home against the Pirates.

Wily Peralta fired eight scoreless frames in a 2-0 win over the Reds on Friday. Peralta's breakout continues. He held the Reds to just three hits and two walks while striking out a season-high seven batters. Oh, and he also had a two-run double which ended up being the only offense of the ballgame. The 24-year-old now holds an impressive 2.04 ERA and 32/9 K/BB ratio in 39 2/3 innings across six starts this season. He should be owned in most mixed fantasy leagues by now.

Wily Peralta allowed three runs on eight hits over seven innings in Sunday's loss to the Cubs. Peralta had rattled off three straight wins before taking the loss on Sunday. The eight hits allowed were the most he's given up in a game this season, and Peralta also walked one. Since a poor start his first time out, Peralta has registered quality starts in each of his last four outings. He'll try to keep the streak going Friday at the Reds.

Wily Peralta moved to 3-0 after allowing three runs -- two earned -- in 6 1/3 innings Monday against the Padres. Peralta hasn't pitched as well as his 2.19 ERA suggests -- he's allowed five unearned runs -- but he's been good enough that the Brewers have won all four of his starts. Particularly encouraging is that he's walked just six batters so far. Last year, he walked 73 in 183 1/3 innings. He has another very favorable matchup coming up against the Cubs.

Wily Peralta held the Cardinals to one run over 6 1/3 innings in Wednesday's 5-1 Brewers win. The dominant performance pushed Milwaukee to an 11-4 record and a two-game lead over the Cardinals in the National League Central standings. Peralta had his sinker and slider working, fanning three batters and scattering six hits over his 6 1/3 frames. He issued just one walk. The 24-year-old right-hander will bring a 2-0 record and 1.96 ERA into his next start at home against the Padres. That's a juicy fantasy matchup.

Wily Peralta gave up two runs (one earned) over seven innings in a 4-2 win over the Pirates on Friday. His only mistake was a two-run homer by Neil Walker in his final inning of work. Peralta gave up just four hits in all to go along with two walks and four strikeouts. He also induced 14 ground balls. If he can turn his velocity into more strikeouts, he could be quite interesting in fantasy leagues.

Wily Peralta allowed five runs -- two earned -- in five innings Saturday versus the Red Sox. It was a lousy night for the left side of the Brewers infield. In the three-run third, Aramis Ramirez got no outs on a potential double-play ball and then Jean Segura settled for one out on what would have been an even easier double play. The inning should have already come to an end twice by the time Mike Napoli hit his three-run homer. Peralta was able to bounce back afterwards, though, and he finished up with six strikeouts.

Wily Peralta pitched well in Tuesday's start against the Giants, allowing one run in 6 1/3 innings. Peralta allowed six hits while striking out five and refraining from issuing a walk. He also helped himself with the bat, hitting a solo homer off of Madison Bumgarner in the sixth inning, the pitcher's second blast of the spring.

Wily Peralta allowed five runs over six innings in his start against the Mariners on Wednesday. Peralta wasn't very sharp, allowing eight hits and walking two while striking out two. Peralta did help his own cause, though, hitting a two-run home run off of Ramon Ramirez in the sixth inning.

Wily Peralta struggled against the Diamondbacks in Cactus League action on Friday, surrendering three runs on six hits over his 4 2/3 innings of work. The hard-throwing right-hander fanned three without walking a batter on the afternoon. Gerardo Parra was single-handedly responsible for the damage against him, with a two-run single in the first inning and a sacrifice fly in the third. He's locked into a spot in the Brewers rotation and offers intriguing upside in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.
