Peralta (3-5) only tossed 5.1 innings allowing two earned runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts, but it was enough to get the win Thursday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Peralta struggles with effectiveness, and needed 95 pitches to cover 5.1 frames, but this time it was enough for the win. For what it's worth, Peralta also contributed at the plate with a two-out, two-run single in the fourth inning. Peralta saw his ERA drop for the second straight game, and now it sits at 6.62. His next start will happen against the Cardinals next Tuesday.

Peralta allowed three runs on six hits, walking two and striking out six over 5.2 innings of a 3-2 loss against the Mets on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
While still not very efficient - he needed 108 pitches to cover the 5.2 innings - Peralta (2-5) was better than he has been recently, and saw his ERA drop to a still bloated 6.99 on the year. His spot in the rotation has been rumored to be in jeopardy, but perhaps this outing was good enough to earn him another turn against the Braves in Atlanta next week.

Manager Craig Counsell wouldn't commit to Peralta making his next scheduled May 21 against the Mets, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peralta, the Brewers' Opening Day starter, has been abysmal throughout the season, and things got even worse during Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Padres, as the right-hander served up six runs on eight hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. Counsell and the team's staff will likely take another day or two before determining the next course of action with Peralta, but at this point, he's doing a lot more harm than good for his fantasy owners. Peralta is sitting on a 2-4 record and a 7.30 ERA across 40.2 innings on the campaign.

Peralta (2-4) allowed six runs on eight hits over 4.2 innings but the Brewers offense bailed him out, as he received a no-decision Saturday against the Padres. He also struck out three and walked three.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has give up at least five runs in four of his eight starts this season. Somehow he's managed to go 1-2 in those four outings, and he is 2-4 despite owning a 7.30 ERA and 1.99 WHIP. He also has 25 strikeouts and 18 walks. His next start will be Saturday against the Mets.

Peralta (2-4) took the loss on Monday, allowing two runs on 10 hits in six innings. He walked two and struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Monday's start was just the second time Peralta has been able to finish six innings in his seven starts this season. The 27-year-old has been brutal this season, recording a 6.75 ERA and 1.94 WHIP to date. Peralta's next start will come Saturday against the Padres.

Peralta was activated from the paternity list and will start Monday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Peralta will return to action after spending the weekend with his growing family. His last start came against the same Marlins team he will face Monday; and although he picked up the win in that outing, he did give up 13 hits and five earned runs while failing to strike out a batter over 5.2 innings.

Peralta (paternity) will rejoin the Brewers' rotation Monday in Miami.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Peralta will miss just one start while away from the team on paternity leave. Tyler Cravy will come up from Triple-A to start in Peralta's place Friday, but he'll likely return to Colorado Springs in short order once Peralta is activated from the paternity list.

Peralta was placed on the paternity list Thursday and has been scratched from his scheduled start Friday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
As a result of the placement, Peralta, whose wife gave birth Thursday, will be required to miss at least one game and no more than three games. Milwaukee called up Tyler Cravy from Triple-A to start in Peralta's place Friday, but Peralta figures to be available when his next turn in the rotation rolls around, likely on Wednesday in Miami.

Peralta (2-3) picked up the win Sunday over the Marlins despite allowing five run on 13 hits and a walk over 5.2 innings without striking out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
He won his second straight start thanks to the Brewers hanging 14 runs on Miami pitching rather than any particular success on his part. Peralta now has an atrocious 7.50 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and 18:13 K:BB in 30 innings and six starts on the season, and shouldn't be anywhere near your active roster when he makes his next start Friday in Cincinnati.

Peralta (1-3) allowed four runs, three of which were earned, on seven hits while striking out five over six innings to earn the win Sunday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Peralta left the game with a two-run deficit before the offense scored six runs in the bottom of the inning to get him his first victory of the season. After getting rocked for 15 runs in 13.1 innings of work over his first three starts, he has now allowed three or fewer earned runs in each of his last two outings. He'll make his next start Saturday against the Marlins.
