May held the Cubs in check Saturday, allowing just one run on seven hits and two walks over six innings and striking out seven.
He took a no-decision in a game the Twins lost in 10 innings, but May still supplied his fifth quality starts in his last seven games, lowering his ERA to a respectable 4.03 in the process. He could have trouble getting it under 4.00 in his next start though, on the road in Milwaukee on Friday.

May lost Tuesday against St. Louis to fall to 4-5 after allowing three runs on five hits over five innings.
May allowed a pair of home runs to sink an otherwise solid start. He still owns a pristine 4.5 K/BB and is giving the Twins plenty to like in his age-25 season. His FIP (3.16) is over a full run lower than his ERA (4.26), and if he can continue to show such great control, there should be brighter days in his future.

May lost despite a quality start Tuesday against Kansas City, as he gave up one run on seven hits and three walks over six innings, with five strikeouts.
May's opponent Chris Young took a no-hitter into the seventh and the Twins were shut out, spoiling May's sharp outing. May has put together four quality starts in his last five outings and has lowered his ERA (4.16) by over a full run in the past month.

May was dominant Wednesday, only allowing runners in the third inning. With two outs, Carlos Peguero singled and took third on a double by Dustin Pedroia, his fifth hit of the doubleheader. But Brock Holt grounded out, and May escaped without giving up a run. Over his last four starts, May has issued only one walk over 26.2 innings. He's scheduled to pitch again Tuesday against the Royals.

May picked up his third win of the season Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out nine.
It was his best performance since joining the Twins' rotation, and while May's 4.95 ERA doesn't inspire confidence, his 36:8 K:BB ratio in 43.2 innings is actually fairly solid. His next start will come at home, on Friday against a dangerous Jays offense.

May turned in a quality start Saturday but got a no-decision, allowing three runs on seven hits over 6.2 innings, striking out three.
It's just his second QS in seven turns through the rotation, a fact reflected in his 5.15 ERA. May's next start doesn't figure to help him improve on that figure much either, as a rare two off-day week for the Twins has May on schedule to pitch next Saturday in Chicago against the White Sox.

May gave up six runs over four innings with four strikeouts and three walks to take the loss Sunday against Cleveland.
May had thrown decent outingss in three of his last four starts (7 ER in 20.2 innings) before struggling Sunday. He gave up five runs in the fourth inning after a catchable ball in the outfield wasn't caught as the inning unraveled. He still has a decent 7.2 K/9 and good control (2.4 BB/9 allowed), so this hopefully wasn't the start of a trend.

May gave up two runs on 10 hits and a walk and struck out four in 5.2 innings to pick up the win against the White Sox on Thursday.
In May's last outing, he was struck on the right elbow off the bat of Seattle's Kyle Seager, but he showed no hesitation or ill effects Wednesday. May's only blemish of the game came in the third, when he allowed back to back RBI singles to Melky Cabrera and Jose Abreu. The right-hander will take the mound again Tuesday against the A's in his next scheduled start.
