May (back) threw a scoreless inning for a save Tuesday for Triple-A Rochester. He's given up one run in 1.2 innings in two rehab appearances.
EDGE Analysis
It's not clear how long he'll stay in Rochester, but it seems likely he could be activated from the DL next week.

May (back) will make a rehab appearance with Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Upon completion of another successful bullpen session Friday, May received the green light to join a minor league affiliate. It's not entirely clear how long he will remain with Rochester, but May pitched his way out of the setup job before hitting the DL and manager Paul Molitor may need some convincing to return May to a high-leverage role.

May (back) will have his bullpen session pushed back to Tuesday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
May was originally scheduled to have the session Sunday, but the Twins opted to give him a couple days to rest after he performed some mechanical work Saturday. The 26-year-old scuffled to the tune of a 6.08 ERA and 1.50 WHIP prior to landing on the DL and could be at risk of demotion to Triple-A Rochester once he's activated.

May (back) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Sunday, Mike Bernardino of PioneerPress reports.
EDGE Analysis
May was placed on the 15-day DL on June 10 with back soreness but he's now set to begin throwing off a mound again. If all goes well during his bullpen stint, a rehab assignment could be on tap late next week. The 26-year-old righty will look to turn things around in his 2016 season once he makes his return in the next several weeks as he's coughed up 14 earned runs over his last 7.2 major league innings (16.43 ERA).

May was placed on the 15-day DL with a back injury, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
May missed a week with a sore lower back and then was hit hard in his return as he gave up thinee runs without recording an out in Thursday's loss. May has been terrible since mid-May with 14 earned runs and 16 hits allowed in 7.2 innings since May 13 and this injury could be the cause.

May gave up hits to all three batters he faced and didn't record an out while giving up three runs in Thursday's loss to Miami. His ERA rose to 6.08.
EDGE Analysis
May missed a week with a sore lower back, the same injury that bothered him late last season. May has been terrible since mid-May with 14 earned runs and 16 hits allowed in 7.2 innings since May 13. After such a strong begging to the season (1.89 ERA in first 19 innings), it would seem possible the back ailment may be bothering him more than has been disclosed.

May retired the only batter he faced in Wednesday's win over Miami. He hadn't pitched since June 1 due to an undisclosed injury.
EDGE Analysis
He had been held out for being "a little sore" according to manager Paul Molitor. However, Molitor said he wanted to work him back into the mix slowly and tried to limit his outing Wednesday.

May (undisclosed) will play catch off flat ground Wednesday, Mike Berardino of the Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
May hasn't pitched since June 1 while he deals with some general soreness, but manager Paul Molitor indicated the reliever may be available Wednesday if the throwing session goes well. The 26-year-old has struggled on the season, so the time off could potentially serve him well provided he's back to full health.

May has not pitched since June 1 and wasn't available in Tuesday's game. "[May] has been a little sore, so we've been trying to protect him. I''m hopeful he's back and ready to go to work tomorrow," manager Paul Molitor told the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
EDGE Analysis
May had been showing some signs of improvement recently after a terrible month of May (8.74 ERA) by allowing one run in four innings over his last five games with a 8:1 K:BB. Hopefully his soreness isn't the result of a significant injury.
