Shaw went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw totaled just one hit -- albeit a home run -- in the first three games after the All-Star break, but he notched five over his last two games to raise his batting average eight points to .299.  Shaw is tied for sixth in the NL with 69 RBI and his holding his own against left-handers, so expect him to continue playing nearly every day at third base.

Shaw is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw will get the day off after starting the past three days at third base with the team going up against southpaw Mike Montgomery. In his place, Hernan Perez draws the start at the hot corner while batting fifth.

Shaw (hand) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw was forced to exit Monday's game after being struck in the hand with a pitch, but later declared he would return Tuesday after his X-rays came back negative. He's been the most consistent offensive force for the first-place Brewers this season, so this is clearly a big break for the Crew. Shaw has struggled against scheduled starter Ubaldo Jimenez, however, going 1-for-11 with five strikeouts and zero extra-base hits.

Shaw's (hand) X-rays came back negative and he said that he'll play Tuesday against the Orioles, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is good news, as the initial tests seem to confirm that Shaw avoided a potentially more serious injury. While Shaw says he's good to go, the Brewers may still decide to hold him out as precaution. Either way, it doesn't sound like he's expected to miss much, if any, time at all.

The Brewers relayed that Shaw, who was pulled from Monday's game against the Orioles in the top of the third inning with a left hand injury, exited for precautionary reasons, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw was initially allowed to stay in the game after taking a pitch to the left hand during his second-inning at-bat, ultimately coming around to score. While it sounds like Shaw has avoided any structural damage to the hand and isn't dealing with any overwhelming soreness, the Brewers held a seven-run lead entering the third inning, so there was little incentive to keep the 27-year-old in the game while he wasn't at full strength. So long as Shaw is able to complete batting practice Tuesday without incident, he should rejoin the lineup for the second game of the series.

Shaw was removed from Monday's game against the Orioles in the top of the third inning due to a left hand injury, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw looked to be in pain after he was struck on the hand by a pitch during his second-inning at-bat, but after consulting with the team trainer, he was initially allowed to stay in the contest and take his base. He later came around to score on Manny Pina's bases-clearing double, but remained in the dugout when the Brewers took the field for the next half inning. It's likely that Shaw is receiving further evaluation for the injury, so the team should have an update on his condition after the contest. Hernan Perez came off the bench to replace Shaw at third base.

Shaw (back) will man third base and bat cleanup Monday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw was sidelined for Sunday's series finale against the Marlins with back discomfort, but his absence from the lineup was precautionary more than anything else and he was never considered at risk of missing extended action. While Shaw likely won't make for an appealing DFS target in the lefty-on-lefty matchup with Orioles starter Wade Miley, fantasy owners in weekly leagues can probably feel comfortable activating him now that he's officially back in the lineup.

Shaw suffered some minor back spasms Saturday but will likely be available off the bench during Sunday's game against the Marlins, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Craig Counsell decided to give Shaw the day off Sunday after he reported of dealing with back discomfort Saturday. The fact that he's reportedly able to come off the bench if needed suggests that the injury is very minor, though he should be considered day-to-day moving forward.

Shaw is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw's impressive campaign has shown no signs of slowing down recently, but he'll receive a well-earned day of rest ahead of the team's series finale against Dan Straily and the Marlins. It'll be his first day off since May 25 and Hernan Perez will draw the start in his stead.

Shaw went 2-for-3 with a homer, a walk and two runs against the Reds on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He's now homered in three straight games; similarly promisingly, Shaw has also drawn a walk in four consecutive contests. It's been a breakout year for Shaw, as Wednesday's homer set a new career high already (17), and he already has a career-best seven steals in his back pocket too. If he can maintain anything even vaguely resembling his current pace, he'll blow away all his career highs before the season's out.
