Shaw went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in Milwaukee's 5-4 loss to the Cubs on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw had been swinging the bat pretty well coming into the game with a .310 average and three multi-hit games and he got his first long ball of the year with Friday's blast off Kyle Hendricks. His 31 homers were the hallmark of his breakout campaign last year, so if he can manage to approach that number again while continuing to hit for solid average, Shaw will again be one of the best fantasy contributors to be found in Milwaukee's lineup.

Shaw went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double and three RBI in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
With Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain getting on base a combined nine times ahead of him Saturday, it's no wonder Shaw was able to drive in his first runs of the season. The 27-year-old is coming off a career year, but given the additional support the front office added to the roster in the offseason, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Shaw top the 101 RBI he racked up in 2017.

Shaw went 8-for-21 (.381) with four home runs and six RBI over his last eight spring games.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw was hitting just .154 after five spring games, but after his hot surge his spring batting average now sits at .294, and he has a 1.010 OPS to boot. Shaw has occupied the cleanup spot in 11 of the 13 games he has appeared in this spring, and will hit out of that slot regularly when the regular season gets underway.

Shaw is 2-for-13 (.154) with three RBI through five spring games.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw has not piled up many hits early on, but he has struck out just twice, so there is no reason for fantasy players to be concerned. Shaw is a lock to open the regular season as the Brewers' starting third baseman barring injury.

Shaw is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw made 144 starts for the Brewers in 2017, but will not be in the lineup for the final game of the season. He'll conclude the year with a solid .273 average and 119 wRC+ over 606 plate appearances. Hernan Perez draws the start at third base Sunday.

Shaw went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run walk-off home run in Saturday's victory over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers were on the verge of losing their third extra-inning game in a row versus the Cubs, but Shaw's big fly turned a one-run deficit into a one-run lead and ended the game. Shaw now has totals of 31 home runs and 99 RBI on the season, and he will have seven more games this season to add to both numbers.

Shaw went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw backed up his two-run shot Saturday with another three hits and RBI on Sunday, drawing him within five RBI of triple digits for the season. He's struggled during September, batting just .212/.317/.423 through Sunday's action. The 27-year-old third baseman has gotten back on track with three-game hitting streak against during the Marlins series and will look to extend it to four Monday in the series opener versus the Pirates.

Shaw went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run during Sunday's win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
After a lull at the dish, Shaw has put together a productive mini stretch with two homers, seven RBI, five runs and a 1.029 OPS through his past seven games. The third baseman has turned in an impressive fantasy campaign with career-best counting statistics across the board.

Shaw went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Wednesday's loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
That puts an end to a 12-game homer drought that also saw Shaw put up a .146 average, so it's a welcome turnaround for the third baseman and his fantasy owners. The late-season drought has come at a bad time for virtual clubs that have gotten to the fantasy playoffs with the backing of Shaw's contributions, but perhaps this homer means he's getting back on track.

Shaw (foot) returns to the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw missed the past two games after leaving Tuesday's contest with a sore foot, but is back at his typical spot for Friday's affair. It's been clear that the third baseman has been a little banged up as of late, as he's just 8-for-42 (.190 average) over Milwaukee's last 15 games. Although he's rejoined the starting nine Friday, manager Craig Counsell may choose to give him Saturday or Sunday off if he's still feeling a bit sore this weekend.
