Tim Hudson allowed four runs over 7 1/3 innings and took a no-decision in Sunday's win over the Rockies. Hudson allowed just five hits in the game, but four went for extra bases. That included home runs to Wilin Rosario and Justin Morneau, and the right-hander was removed after giving up back-to-back doubles in the eighth inning. Despite the four runs allowed Sunday, Hudson is 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA through three starts. His next start will come next weekend against the Padres.

Tim Hudson was terrific again Tuesday, holding the Diamondbacks to three runs -- two earned -- over eight frames in a 7-3 victory. Hudson surrendered seven hits, didn't walk anyone and struck out four. He threw 101 pitches in the outing. The veteran right-hander's first two starts for the Giants couldn't have gone much better, as he's sailed through 15 1/3 innings, allowing two earned runs. He'll try to keep it rolling this weekend at home versus the Rockies.

Tim Hudson's first start with the Giants was a rousing success, as he fired 7 1/3 shutout innings, striking out seven, in Wednesday's 2-0 victory over Arizona. This was vintage Hudson. The 38-year-old scattered three hits and didn't issue a free pass. Hudson's ERA increased each of the last three years in Atlanta -- culminating in 2013's 3.97 -- which helped savvy owners scoop up the crafty veteran at a bargain price in spring drafts. Hudson's signature control isn't going anywhere, and he's going to fit AT&T Park like a glove. Arizona better have a better gameplan for Tuesday's rematch in Hudson's home debut.

Tim Hudson limited the White Sox to one run over six innings in a win Saturday. Hudson spread out seven hits and a walk over his six innings, fanning two. It was a nice outing after Hudson allowed three runs in 4 2/3 innings against the Indians his last time out. Then again, spring stats mean little to the veteran right-hander. He should be fine once the real games start.

Tim Hudson wasn't sharp in Sunday's loss to the Indians, allowing three runs on five hits over 4 2/3 innings. Hudson struck out four on the afternoon but also issued four free passes. He threw 100 pitches in the outing, as he continues to get stretched out for the start of the regular season. The veteran right-hander consistently delivers mixed league value at a discount price, and 2014 should be no different.

Tim Hudson gave up four runs in 3 2/3 innings in Tuesday's start against the Reds. Hudson walked three and allowed five hits, including a solo home run to Skip Schumaker in the fourth inning. Hudson entered his start with five scoreless innings, but the Reds ended it quickly in the first inning. The good news is that Hudson looks completely fine having recovered from an ugly ankle injury suffered late last season.

Tim Hudson fired three scoreless innings against the Reds in Thursday's start. Hudson allowed two hits and two walks while striking out three. Despite three consecutive seasons with a rising ERA, Hudson should be expected to once again post solid numbers for the Giants. He's moving from one pitcher-friendly park in Atlanta to another one in San Francisco.

Tim Hudson tossed a pair of perfect innings against the Diamondbacks in his Cactus League debut for the Giants on Sunday. The 38-year-old hurler fanned one in the strong start. Relying much more on command than velocity at this stage of his career, Hudson has proven that as long as he can stay on the field, he remains relevant in fantasy leagues. While he can't be counted on as an asset in strikeouts, he should deliver strong ratios and a respectable win total, making him a nice target in the later rounds of drafts.

Tim Hudson (ankle) is scheduled to throw live batting practice on Friday in Giants camp. Hudson is working his way back from last year's ankle surgery and taking a slow but steady approach to his spring throwing program. He is expected to be 100 percent healthy when the 2014 regular season begins and is a worthy late-round grab in deep mixed league drafts. The veteran right-hander had a 3.97 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 95 strikeouts in 131 1/3 innings last year with the Braves.

Tim Hudson (ankle) did some running Thursday and threw a bullpen session. Hudson will be eased into running drills as he works his way back from ankle surgery, but he's expected to be on same throwing schedule as other starters. The 38-year-old posted a 3.97 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 131 1/3 innings for the Braves last season.
