Tim Hudson held the Nationals to an unearned run and three hits over 7 1/3 innings in a no-decision Saturday. Gio Gonzalez matched Hudson for seven innings, so Hudson remained winless in his last five starts. Still, it was an encouraging outing. Hudson got 13 outs on the ground, plus four strikeouts. The three hits allowed matched his season low.

Tim Hudson was tagged for six runs and two homers in six innings Monday in a loss to the Blue Jays. Hudson's strikeout rate is better than usual, and he's not giving up a terribly excessive number of hits (65 in 62 innings). The problem is that he's been far worse with runners on than he has with the bases empty. It's the kind of thing that should correct itself over time, but that's not going to soothe his suffering owners with his ERA up to 5.37.

Tim Hudson held the Twins to two runs over five innings Tuesday in the Braves' extra-innings victory. Holding the Minnesota offense to two runs is no great feat, but it was a refreshing outing nonetheless from the struggling veteran right-hander. He did not walk a batter and struck out five, and now has a 4.98 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 44/15 K/BB ratio in 56 innings this year. He'll try for another solid start next time out in Toronto.

Tim Hudson struggled through 3 2/3 innings on Friday, giving up six runs in a loss to the Giants. Hudson has given up six runs in both of his losses this year, while never allowing more than three runs in any of his other six starts. He's not the ace he used to be, but he's still a safe bet to be useful in ERA, WHIP and victories.

Tim Hudson limited the Mets to three runs in 7 1/3 innings Sunday as the Braves picked up a 9-4 win. Hudson had a clean line until David Wright slugged a two-run homer in the top of the fourth inning. An eighth-inning Mets rally then drove the veteran starter from the game. He's 4-1 with a 3.83 ERA and 1.13 WHIP.

Tim Hudson allowed one run over seven innings to pick up his 200th career win in the Braves' 8-1 victory over the Nationals on Tuesday. Hudson helped his own cause with a solo home run, but the story of the game was his pitching. Hudson dominated over his seven innings, allowing just three hits while striking out six. Even at his age, Hudson remains a solid play in mixed leagues. He'll next get the Mets on Sunday.

Tim Hudson allowed three earned runs over six innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Rockies. Hudson was denied his 200th career win (and his first career victory at Coors Field) because Craig Kimbrel blew a save in the ninth. The veteran right-hander yielded a total of six hits and two walks while striking out three. He'll carry a 2-1 record, 4.50 ERA and 1.32 WHIP into his next outing against the Nationals.

Tim Hudson was hit hard in Friday's loss to the Pirates, surrendering six runs on nine hits in four-plus innings of work. Hudson also issued a pair of free passes and struck out two in the disappointing performance. Pedro Alvarez tagged Hudson for a two-run bomb as part of the three run second inning, then the Pirates added three in the fifth before chasing him from the game. Hudson now sits at 2-1 with a 4.09 ERA and 15/7 K/BB ratio through 22 innings on the season. He'll look to get back on track when he takes on the Rockies in Colorado on Wednesday.

Tim Hudson spun seven innings of one-run ball in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Nationals. The Braves are now 10-1 on the young season. Hudson was incredibly efficient, limiting the Nationals to four hits and zero walks while throwing 60 out of 90 pitches for strikes. The only run scored on a solo homer from Danny Espinosa in the fifth inning. Hudson has delivered consecutive solid starts after a shaky season debut and is worth using in all formats with a matchup against the Pirates next week.

Tim Hudson was removed after allowing three runs in 4 1/3 innings Monday against the Phillies. Hudson was staked to a 4-0 lead in the third, but he gave up a homer to Chase Utley in the fourth and had to be replaced in the fifth, even with the Braves still holding the lead. Seemingly taking a toll was Ben Revere drawing an 11-pitch walk in the frame. With Hudson out, the win went to Luis Avilan, who pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings after taking over.
