Adleman signed a minor-league contract with the Reds on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old had a 5.52 ERA over 122.1 innings for the Reds during the 2017 season, and he'll rejoin the organization in 2021. Adleman will report to the alternate training site after spending last season at Detroit's alternate site.

Adleman will be a part of the Tigers' 60-man player pool this season.
EDGE Analysis
Adleman was not on the 40-man roster after signing a minor-league deal with the Tigers in November, but he'll be on the expanded MLB roster. The 32-year-old last pitched in the majors in 2017 with Cincinnati and will give the Tigers some pitching depth.

Adleman signed a minor-league contract with the Tigers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old recorded a 3.23 ERA with a 1.10 WHIP over 117 minor-league innings last season. Adleman has experience pitching out of the rotation and the bullpen, but will likely only be an emergency option for the Tigers if injuries pile up in their pitching staff.

Adleman signed with the Reds on a minor league deal and will report to their minor league camp at spring training, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Adleman spent 2018 pitching in Korea, but threw 122.1 innings with the Reds in 2017, posting a 5.52 ERA and 1.43 WHIP. He's there for Triple-A depth, and a rainy day option for the Reds in the event that a slew of injuries strike.

Adleman signed a one-year deal with Korea's Samsung Lions, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Adleman spent the majority of 2017 as a starter in Cincinnati before heading to the bullpen full-time in early August. He owns a 9-15 record and 4.97 career ERA with the Reds, but rather than fight to stay in the rotation on a rebuilding team all year, the 30-year-old will instead take his talents overseas. Per the report, Adelman will make $1.05 million in the upcoming season, plus a $100,000 signing bonus.

The Reds are expected to activate Scott Feldman (knee) from the 10-day disabled list and have him start Saturday's game against the Brewers, meaning that Adleman will likely head back to the bullpen in the coming days, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Bryan Price had previously dropped Adleman to the bullpen a week earlier amid a string of poor starts, with Asher Wojciechowski moving from a long-relief role to claim a rotation spot. However, after No. 5 starter Robert Stephenson (shoulder), who had been filling in for the injured Feldman, hit the disabled list over the weekend, Adleman was called upon to make a spot start Monday against the Padres. The right-hander did little Monday to bolster his claim for regaining a spot in the rotation, surrendering two runs on six hits and a walk while failing to escape the fifth inning. Assuming Feldman incurs no setbacks during his pre-start bullpen session, Adleman should be available in long relief beginning Saturday.

Adleman allowed two runs on six hits and two walks across 4.2 innings in a no-decision Monday against the Padres. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Making his first start since Robert Stephenson (shoulder) went on the disabled list, Adleman held the Padres in check. He kept the ball down and recorded six groundball outs, with the only real mistake coming on a two-run home run by Jose Pirela in the fourth inning. Adleman worked up to 76 pitches but was removed one out shy of qualifying for a win as his side held a lead they would never relinquish. He appears set to remain in the rotation and will take his next turn Saturday against the Brewers.

Adleman will start Monday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
After submitting an 8.27 ERA and 1.74 WHIP in his first four starts out of the All-Star break, Adleman was moved to the bullpen last week, with long reliever Asher Wojciechowski taking his place in the rotation. Shortly after the change, the Reds placed Robert Stephenson on the 10-day disabled list with a shoulder injury, and his absence will temporarily open up a starting role for Adleman. It's expected that Adleman will head back to the bullpen immediately after Monday's outing, however, as at least one of Stephenson or Scott Feldman (knee) seems likely to be activated from the DL over the weekend to rejoin the rotation during the Reds' series in Milwaukee.

Adleman will not make his next scheduled start against the Cardinals, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Bryan Price instead will turn to Asher Wojciechowski to make the start in a move that was deemed to be performance-related. Adleman allowed five and six runs in his past two starts, respectively, so the 29-year-old's bump from the rotation certainly seems to be warranted at this point. However, even if he is able to pick things up in the bullpen, it may be tough to work his way back into the rotation given that Scott Feldman (knee) and Anthony DeSclafani (elbow) are expected to return from their respective injuries relatively soon.

Adleman (5-9) allowed six runs on six hits and four walks while striking out two batters through just 4.1 innings during Saturday's loss to Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Adleman entered the outing with a 6.69 ERA through his past seven outings, and Saturday's showing continued the underwhelming stretch. He's pitched his way off the fantasy grid in the majority of settings and now owns a crippling 5.42 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. Adleman's 8.1 K/9 does offer a sliver of hope in cavernous formats or as a flier candidate in the right matchup. He projects to make his next start at home against the Cardinals.
