Corbin (1-2) allowed five runs, four of which were earned, on seven hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings to take the loss Friday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Despite not allowing too many runners to reach base, Corbin was ultimately done in by allowing three homers in a game the Diamondbacks never led. In his previous two starts, he held each of his opponents to one earned run, but his struggles with the long ball in this contest saw his ERA move up to 3.51. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Cardinals.

Corbin said Monday that his arm felt "awesome" after topping 100 pitches for the first time since 2013, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin threw 105 pitches across 6.2 innings on Sunday. Last year, his pitch count never topped 91 as the Diamondbacks worked the lefty back slowly from Tommy John surgery that cost him the entire 2014 season. The fact that Arizona seems prepared to let Corbin work a bit deeper into games this season bodes well for his fantasy prospects.

Corbin picked up his first win of the season Saturday against the Padres. He pitched 6.2 innings, allowing just one earned run on six hits while striking out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Pitching well against the Padres isn't exactly saying much, but Corbin has now allowed a single earned run in consecutive starts, which is something he did just once all of last season. The 26-year-old lefty's last full season was in 2013, when he made the NL All-Star team. Not that he will be a Summer Classic participant again, but there's no reason to believe Corbin can't be an above-average arm in many league.

Corbin allowed one run on six hits and one walk while striking out one over six innings, but received no decision.
EDGE Analysis
After giving up a second-inning run, Corbin held down the Dodgers until his exit after the sixth inning. Although the offense didn't give him much support, they scored their first run of the game in the seventh inning to take him off the hook for a possible loss. He'll make his next start Sunday against the Padres.

Corbin (0-1) gave up four runs on eight hits, including three home runs, over seven innings in a loss to the Rockies on Wednesday. He struck out six and did not walk a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Four pitches into the start, Corbin was already down 2-0, having allowed a single to DJ LeMahieu and a two-run home run to Trevor Story. LeMahieu later added a homer of his own, as did Ryan Raburn. Last season, Corbin allowed a total of nine home runs in 85 innings after returning from Tommy John surgery. On a positive note, Corbin was able to get 10 ground-ball outs and did not issue a free pass, and he had a 24:3 K:BB with one home run allowed during spring ball. He lines up to face the Dodgers and Padres next week.

Corbin, who will make his season debut today against the Rockies, plans on incorporating his changeup more, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
In his breakout 2013 season, Corbin relied almost entirely on a fastball-slider combo. The 27-year-old lefty said he wants to use his changeup more this season, and an opposing scout said the pitch "was a lot better this spring."

Corbin has pitched 9.0 innings so far this spring, allowing just one earned run and striking out 10.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin is about two years removed from Tommy John surgery and he might be returning to the form that made him an All-Star in 2013. He missed all of 2014 and tossed just 85 innings last year for the Diamondbacks. The lefty will slot in as the team's No. 3 starter this year behind Zack Greinke and Shelby Miller.

Corbin agreed to a one-year deal with the Diamondbacks for $2.525 million, avoiding arbitration, Yahoo! Sports' Jeff Passan reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is obviously an extreme bargain for Arizona, but Corbin missed all of 2014 after undergoing Tommy John surgery, and managed just 102 innings across three levels in 2015. He enters 2016 with a good chance to get to 150 innings if he can stay healthy, and he offers the upside of a No. 2 starter.

Corbin struggled on Thursday, allowing five runs on 10 hits and a walk across 5.1 innings in a no-decision against the Rockies. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin has had a nice run after returning from Tommy John surgery and despite this performance, fantasy owners should be pleased. The lefty now holds a 3.60 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 16 starts this season. The velocity and strikeouts seem to be up to par with his pre-Tommy John form and that's a good sign going forward.

Corbin (6-5) lasted just 4.1 innings on Thursday, as he allowed four runs on five hits and three walks in a 6-3 loss to the Dodgers. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin was in the midst of a fantastic stretch, but he couldn't quite keep that going here against Clayton Kershaw. All of his five previous outings were quality starts and aside from this dud, it appears Corbin is fully back after a Tommy John surgery last season. He'll have one more start this season against the Rockies next Thursday.
