Rather than re-grouping and bouncing back strong, Eovaldi came back worse in the second inning and allowed another three runs to score, with Freddie Freeman's two-run double the crushing blow. He'll try to put this rough outing behind him and get back in the win column when he squares off against the Mets in New York on Wednesday.

The Dodgers busted out for four runs tonight, giving Herrera by far his most run support to date. They had scored a total of five runs in his previous seven starts, leading to his 0-5 record. They were shut out entirely in his last two outings.
