Nathan Eovaldi was shelled for six runs in four innings Saturday in the Marlins' loss to the Brewers. Eovaldi gave up two runs in the first inning, one in the third and three in the fourth. He got off to a nice start with the Marlins after his mid-June debut but the shine is beginning to wear off. The young righty is not a good fantasy option next week at Coors Field.

Nathan Eovaldi allowed three runs over six innings Friday in an 8-3 win over the Nationals. Eovaldi was touched up for three runs in the first inning, but he held the Nationals off the board the rest of the way. The young right-hander gave up just three hits while walking four and fanning five. He now has a 2.93 ERA through five starts since joining the Marlins' rotation last month, though his 18/13 KBB ratio over 30 2/3 innings doesn't exactly scream must-own in mixed fantasy leagues. Still, he's an intriguing matchup play.

Nathan Eovaldi yielded three runs over 6 2/3 innings Saturday in a no-decision against the Cardinals. It was his longest outing of the season. Eovaldi left the game with the lead, but left-hander Mike Dunn coughed it up when he gave up a game-tying two-run homer to Matt Adams. He fanned three and walked three in the no-decision and now holds a 2.55 ERA and 13/9 K/BB ratio across his first 24 2/3 innings this season. While the young right-hander has good stuff, he's more of a matchup play in fantasy leagues right now.

Nathan Eovaldi spun six scoreless innings, holding the Padres to just four hits and three walks in Sunday's 6-2 win. Eovaldi didn't record a strikeout, but he also didn't give up any extra-base hits and only got into trouble in one inning when he pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the fourth. In his first three starts since being activated from the disabled list, the righty boasts a 2.00 ERA and 0.94 WHIP while showing improved velocity. He has a tough matchup in St. Louis next weekend but is worth streaming in deeper leagues.

Nate Eovaldi allowed just two runs on four hits over six innings Sunday in a win over the Giants He gave up just two walks and had seven strikeouts before being removed at 86 pitches. Eovaldi was able to build on his impressive 2013 debut to pick up his first win. His only mistake came on a solo home run to Hunter Pence. Eovaldi has a fastball that can touch 98 mph and should continue to have value in deeper mixed leagues.

Nathan Eovaldi pitched six innings of two-run ball Tuesday against the Diamondbacks in his season debut. Back from a shoulder injury, Eovaldi allowed just three hits tonight and he made it through six innings in a modest 84 pitches. That he's a Marlin really cuts into his fantasy upside -- wins will be very difficult to come by -- but he should have a little value in NL-only leagues anyway.

Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder) will be activated from the disabled list to start Tuesday against the Diamondbacks. Eovaldi has been out all year with shoulder inflammation, but he didn't have any setbacks during five rehab starts. He should be worth owning in NL-only leagues.

Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder) could rejoin the Marlins' rotation as soon as June 9. It was previously reported that he could be back in the rotation this week, but he's not quite ready yet. Eovaldi will make his second rehab start for High-A Jupiter on Thursday before likely being moved up to Double-A Jacksonville next Tuesday. His next start after that could come with the Marlins. The righty has been out all year with shoulder inflammation. "He feels great. Right now hes just building up and it's looking good,'' manager Mike Redmond.

Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder) is expected to join the Marlins' starting rotation at some point this week. Eovaldi has been out all season with inflammation in his right shoulder. The 23-year-old righty owns a 4.15 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 5.9 K/9 in 154 career major league innings and should be ignored in standard mixed leagues.
