Mike Trout (back) remained out of the Angels' lineup Sunday. Trout has now missed two straight contests with upper back stiffness. He reported improvement late Saturday, so there would seem to be a good chance he'll be back in action on Tuesday after the off day Monday.

Trout was acting as the DH to give his legs a game off from outfield duties anyway. He's batting .270/.361/.511 with 31 RBI.
