Trout (hamstring) is batting third as the designated hitter Thursday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
While he isn't quite ready to return to the field, Trout is back in the starting lineup after missing the last five games with a tight hamstring. If all goes well Thursday, he should be able to take the field before the weekend series against Detroit is over, though the Angels likely won't rush that. Trout will look to pick up where he left off before his hamstring acted up, as the two-time MVP is in the midst of a 17-game hitting streak and owns a gaudy triple slash of .355/.446/.700 through 30 games.

Manager Mike Scioscia said the Angels are hoping Trout (hamstring) can play Thursday against the Tigers, the Orange County Register's Jeff Fletcher reports.
EDGE Analysis
He did agility drills to test his hamstring on the field prior to Wednesday's game, which will mark the fifth contest in a row that he has missed due to the ailment. Ben Revere is starting in left field while Cameron Maybin slides over to center field in Trout's absence.

Trout (hamstring) is out of Wednesday's lineup against the A's.
EDGE Analysis
On Tuesday it was reported that a DL stint was unlikely for Trout, but he will nonetheless miss his fifth game in a row. Cameron Maybin slides over to center field with Ben Revere manning left field. Trout should be considered day-to-day for now.

Trout (hamstring) will take batting practice Tuesday and attempt to do some running Wednesday, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports. A trip to the disabled list remains unlikely.
EDGE Analysis
With Trout's unavailability Tuesday, the All-Star center fielder has now missed four consecutive games. Despite the fact that he's now missed extended time, it still does not appear that Trout will require a trip to the disabled list. He'll remain listed as day-to-day for the time being.

Trout (hamstring) is not in the lineup against the Athletics, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout was originally expected to return by Tuesday, but it appears his tight hamstring is still acting up as the two-time MVP will take a seat for the fourth straight game. Cameron Maybin will again fill in for Trout in center field while Ben Revere gets the nod in left field.

Trout (hamstring) is not in the lineup Monday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Although a recent MRI conducted came back clean, the Angels will hold Trout out for his third straight game as it appears he isn't fully over a bout of hamstring tightness. Even though Trout remains sidelined, the Angels expect the two-time MVP to be back in action for Tuesday's contest against the A's. In the meantime, Cameron Maybin will take over in center field for Monday's game while Ben Revere slides to left field.

Trout (hamstring) expects to return to the Angels lineup no later than Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout sat out two games of the weekend with a tight left hamstring, but after an MRI conducted Sunday night came back clean, the two-time MVP doesn't anticipate missing much more action. While Trout is still unsure if he'll be ready to play in the series opener Monday, the Angels could still clear him for pinch-hitting duties if manager Mike Scioscia is uncomfortable deploying him in center field.

Trout (hamstring) expects to return to the lineup Monday in Oakland, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout is sitting his second straight game Sunday due to hamstring tightness, but from the sound of it, the move is mostly precautionary. Fantasy owners should have little-to-no qualms about deploying the perennial MVP candidate in their lineups in the upcoming week.

Trout (hamstring) remains out of the lineup Sunday against the Astros, MLB.com's Maria Guardado reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout was a late scratch Saturday due to issues with hamstring tightness that also hampered him during the week. He won't be quite ready for a Sunday return, and fantasy owners may want to check back for news prior to Monday's series opener in Oakland. In the meantime, Cameron Maybin will once again shift over to center field while Ben Revere draws the start in left.

Trout was a late scratch from Saturday's game against the Astros, Julia Morales of ROOT Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout had been nursing a hamstring injury the past couple days, and although he was initially tabbed to start in center field Saturday, there are reports that he aggravated the ailment during warmups. More information on the injury should become apparent once he's examined further by team doctors. No new lineup has been released, but Cameron Maybin will slide over to center field to fill the void while Ben Revere mans left field.
