Mike Leake was left with a no-decision despite holding the Padres to one run over eight innings in the Reds' Tuesday loss. Leake turned in his third consecutive sharp outing, holding the Padres to two hits and a walk while striking out five. He was matched by Padres starter Andrew Cashner, rendering him unable to even out his 2-3 record. Leake now has a 3.09 ERA with a 0.99 WHIP and he'll look to lower both in his next start against the Phillies on the road.

Mike Leake yielded two runs in seven innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Red Sox. Leake left with a one-run lead, but it didn't last. Run support has been a major issue for him lately, as the Reds have scored three times in his last three starts. He's 2-3 despite a fine 3.40 ERA and 1.09 WHIP.

Mike Leake gave up two runs over eight innings in a loss to the Brewers on Friday. The only offense of the game for the Brewer was a two-run double by opposing pitcher Wily Peralta in the fifth inning. Still, it was enough to put him in position for the loss. He struck out five and walked a pair and now holds a 3.53 ERA and 1.04 WHIP through six starts this year. He'll get the Rockies at home next week.

Mike Leake was hammered in Sunday's loss to the Brewers, giving up eight runs (seven earned) on nine hits in his four innings of work. Leake struck out two and didn't walk a batter in the contest. The 26-year-old watched his ERA rise from 3.00 to 6.92 in the process. His spot in the Reds rotation isn't in any danger, and he'll have one more Cactus League tuneup to right the ship before the regular season begins.

Mike Leake allowed one run in four innings of work against the Indians in Monday's start. Aside from a Nick Swisher solo home run in the fourth inning, Leake was solid, scattering three hits overall while striking out six and walking none. The right-hander looks as ready for the regular season as anyone in the rotation, lowering his Cactus League ERA to 3.00 with Monday's effort.

Mike Leake allowed one run in three innings during Wednesday's start against the Rockies. Leake allowed three hits and a walk, and did not record a strikeout. The right-hander, now 26, had a career year for the Reds in 2013, posting career-bests in ERA and innings pitched. His strikeout rate isn't anything special but he gets results anyway.

Mike Leake (abdomen) is expected to make his Cactus League debut on Friday against the White Sox. Leake had to be scratched from his turn last weekend because of a minor abdominal strain. He made it through a bullpen session without issue on Wednesday in camp and is on track to be 100 percent by Opening Day. The 26-year-old right-hander posted an excellent 3.37 ERA in 192 1/3 innings last summer for Cincinnati.
