Leake turned in his third consecutive sharp outing, holding the Padres to two hits and a walk while striking out five. He was matched by Padres starter Andrew Cashner, rendering him unable to even out his 2-3 record. Leake now has a 3.09 ERA with a 0.99 WHIP and he'll look to lower both in his next start against the Phillies on the road.
