Conforto is out of the lineup Wednesday due to hamstring tightness, but manager Terry Collins said Conforto should be back by Friday, Anthony Rieber of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
The hamstring issue will force Conforto to the bench for the first time since April 19, but the Mets seems optimistic that two full days of rest (with Thursday's off day) will provide sufficient maintenance. Conforto homered in Tuesday's win, his eighth home run this season, and is now batting .330/.425/.648 for the year.

Conforto is not in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
It's his first day off in 17 games and allows Juan Lagares to get the start in center field as Curtis Granderson shifts over to left. Conforto has been a bright spot for the Mets this season, leading the team with a .330 batting average and a .425 OBP.

Conforto went 2-for-5 with a double, a homer and two runs against the Giants on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
His development as a hitter has been truly impressive, as Conforto's excellent approach and effortless-seeming power have his OPS sitting at a lofty 1.073. Even once Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) returns, Conforto has proven he deserves an everyday slot in the Mets' lineup -- he's been their best hitter, bar none. With Curtis Granderson currently hitting .136, the choice doesn't look like it'll be difficult for manager Terry Collins once the time comes.

Conforto went 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored in Monday's win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
He continues to get on base at a prolific rate, and while Conforto's .325/.426/.614 slash line might be better suited to the heart of the Mets order he isn't likely to move out of the leadoff spot given the trouble the team had in April trying to find someone who could adequately fill it. Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) is still a couple of weeks away from returning to action, but Conforto has done more than enough to justify remaining in the starting lineup even after Cespedes is back.

Conforto went 3-for-6 with two doubles, two RBI and a run in Wednesday's 16-5 rout of the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
He's loving life in the leadoff spot for the Mets, getting on base at a spectacular clip (.427 for the season) and slugging an even .700 after this performance. There's no doubt that Conforto is an everyday player for the Mets moving forward, so don't hesitate to jump in head-first -- aside from speed, he offers the entire fantasy package.

Conforto went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Tuesday's loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old's now put together three multi-hit performances in his last four games, pushing his slash line on the season to .344/.421/.688. With their pitching staff in tatters and the Mets needing all the offense they can get, Conforto figures to remain a fixture in the starting lineup even after Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) gets healthy.

Conforto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a two-run single in Monday's 7-5 win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The home run was Conforto's seventh of the season and came in the first inning against Braves ace Julio Teheran. The 24-year-old outfielder now has three home runs in his last three games after blasting a pair of round-trippers Saturday. He's now up to an impressive slash line of .333/.408/.700 and is seeing everyday playing time with Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) on the shelf. Conforto is a must-start in all formats right now.

Conforto went 3-for-4 with two homers and three RBI in Saturday's victory over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Conforto launched a two-run bomb, his fifth of the season, off Stephen Strasburg to break a one-all tie before extending the Mets lead with another homer later in the game. After starting the month as a part-time starter, he's been a regular in the Mets lineup since April 18, and he's responded by blasting four homers over his last seven games, making him a player who needs to remain in fantasy lineups until further notice.

Conforto will likely take over an everyday role in the Mets' outfield with Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) on the DL, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Jay Bruce spending time at first base in place of Lucas Duda (elbow), Conforto has already been making the most his opportunities. The 24-year-old is hitting .302 with four home runs and eight RBI and ranks second on the team with a .989 OPS. Conforto will have a chance to truly establish himself as a regular in the Mets' lineup, but will need to establish consistency if he wants to remain there. He hit just .220 over 109 games last season and racked up 89 strikeouts in the process.

Conforto went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets only had six hits on the night, and it's scary to imagine what their injury-ravaged lineup might look like right now without Conforto in it. The 24-year-old is now slashing .361/.432/.722 with four homers in 44 plate appearances, and with Jay Bruce needed at first base while Lucas Duda (elbow) is out, Conforto should continue seeing a full workload at least through the end of the month.
