Conforto is leading off and playing center field Tuesday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The young outfielder is batting a hot .353 on the season, so he'll get the nod in center over the struggling Curtis Granderson. Conforto's playing time is still somewhat sporadic at this time, but if he continues to mash atop the Mets batting order, he could force his way into more playing time, especially if Granderson continues to scuffle.

Conforto went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk and three runs scored against the Phillies on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Inserted into the leadoff spot at the last minute with the Mets scratching Curtis Granderson, Conforto provided a major spark, with his 413-foot homer to left-center particularly standing out. That opposite-field power is part of why Conforto has such high upside, but he's in a tough position with the Mets right now. With Granderson, Yoenis Cespedes and Jay Bruce occupying the everyday outfield spots, there's no room for Conforto to get consistent at-bats; they can't even play lefty-righty because Granderson, Bruce and Conforto all hit left-handed. Until this situation is changed by a trade or an injury, it'll remain frustrating for Conforto owners.

Conforto was added to the Mets lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Marc Carig of Newsday reports. He'll lead off and man center field.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets were originally planning on using the same lineup that put up 14 runs in Tuesday's win, but manager Terry Collins ultimately elected to scratch Curtis Granderson for an undisclosed reason, allowing Conforto to move into the starting nine. In his lone other start this season Sunday against the Marlins, Conforto went 1-for-3 with a home run, walk and two RBI.

Conforto went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI in Sunday's 5-2 win against Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Conforto's first home run of the season came off Marlins starter Edinson Volquez in the sixth inning. Because of New York's crowded outfield situation, the promising young lefty swinger has been left out in the cold as far as playing time is concerned to start the year. Sunday was his first start, and he made the most of it. Conforto's All-Star potential makes him worth a stash in deep mixed, AL-only and dynasty leagues, but he's not worth rostering in other formats until he gains more playing time.

Conforto has made the major-league roster, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The debate over where to assign him has raged throughout spring training, but with Juan Lagares (oblique) beginning the season on the disabled list, New York decided Conforto was needed more in the majors. The lefty hitter acquitted himself well in exhibition work with a .300/.323/.550 line, three home runs and five RBI in 62 plate appearances. Fantasy players in deep mixed leagues have a more concrete reason to stash him as soon as possible. If regular playing time were to open up, the 24-year-old could offer at least a tease of his high ceiling.

Conforto went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run, his third long ball of the spring, in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old's path to a spot on the big league roster seems to be getting clearer with Brandon Nimmo (hamstring) still not back in action and Juan Lagares (oblique) getting hurt as well Saturday, but the Mets have said consistently this spring that they'd like to see Conforto get regular at-bats, something that wouldn't happen even as the fourth outfielder in the majors. With the team running out of healthy outfielders, though, the sweet-swinging lefty's development may have to wait.

Conforto will likely get some starts in center field in the coming days, Newsday's Marc Carig reports.
EDGE Analysis
This seemed inevitable, given the fact that the Mets' best four outfielders are all naturally corner guys, so they will have to sacrifice defense at times in order to get their best hitters as many at-bats as possible. Conforto might be the team's second best offensive outfielder in terms of pure talent (behind Yoenis Cespedes), but it's really hard to project how much playing time he will see while Curtis Granderson and Jay Bruce remain in the fold.

Conforto went 2-for-3 in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
He's now 7-for-13 to begin his spring but, perhaps more importantly, three of those hits have come against left-handed pitchers, including Wednesday's opposite-field single off Brett Cecil. Conforto's still likely ticketed for Triple-A Las Vegas to begin the season due to the Mets' crowded outfield, but his value in keeper or dynasty leagues remains very high.

Conforto went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored during Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The homer, his second of the spring already, came off lefty Daniel Stumpf, an encouraging sign for Conforto given his struggles in the majors against same-side pitching. The 23-year-old needs a big training camp to keep from beginning the season at Triple-A Las Vegas, and while it's still extremely early, so far he's more than delivering.

Conforto went 2-for-3 with a solo home run off left-hander Henry Owens in Friday's Grapefruit League opener against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old will need a big spring to avoid beginning the regular season back at Triple-A, but launching a homer off a lefty is a great way to get the front office's attention. Conforto has hit just .129/.191/.145 in 62 big league at-bats against same-side pitching, so improvement in that area will be crucial not just for his 2017 fantasy value, but for his overall future career prospects.
