Conforto (hand) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the fourth straight game out of the lineup for Conforto as he recovers from a hand injury that he suffered this past Sunday. There has been no word from the team on his condition, but he likely would have already been placed on the disabled list if he needed it (especially since they can no longer retroactively put him there), so the 24-year-old should be considered day-to-day while Curtis Granderson nabs another start in center.

Conforto (hand) is not in the lineup Thursday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Conforto will be held out for a third straight contest as he continues to nurse a hand injury that he sustained in Sunday's win over the Giants. There hasn't been any update on his status at this point, so he'll remain day-to-day while Curtis Granderson draws another start for him in center field.

Conforto (hand) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins, Kristie Ackert of the NY Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conforto left Sunday's game after getting hit in the left wrist at the plate, and was held out of Tuesday's contest following an off day. The Mets will take the side of precaution when it comes to their star outfielder, but there hasn't been much news in terms of a timetable for the 24-year-old as of this moment. He should be considered day-to-day for now until more information becomes present.

Manager Terry Collins said after Tuesday's game that the team is unsure when Conforto (hand) will be ready to play again, Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
A second round of X-rays confirmed that there are no breaks in Conforto's hand, but he does have a severe bone bruise and remained unable to even grip a bat as of Tuesday. While there has been nothing to suggest a DL move is imminent, it sounds like Conforto is in danger of missing additional time as he waits for the treatment to take effect and the discomfort to subside.

X-rays on Conforto's injured hand revealed a severe bone bruise Tuesday, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conforto reportedly had troubles swinging a bat Tuesday so manager Terry Collins withheld the young center fielder from the lineup ahead of their game against the Marlins. It's unclear when his hand will be healed enough to allow him to rejoin the starting lineup, but for now Conforto should be considered day-to-day.

Conforto (hand) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Conforto, who exited Sunday's game early after being hit by a pitch, was hoping to return to the lineup after Monday's off-day, but he's apparently still feeling some lingering pain. He's expected to see a doctor Tuesday, according to Matt Ehalt of The Record. Curtis Granderson will continue to start in center field with Conforto sidelined.

Conforto (hand) hopes to return Tuesday in Miami, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conforto was struck on the padding of his left hand below the pinkie finger in an at-bat Sunday against the Giants. He was forced to leave the game due to the injury, but the X-rays came back negative and he sounds optimistic he'll be able to rejoin the lineup after the team's day off Monday, so there's no reason for owners to panic at this point.

Conforto exited Sunday's game against the Giants after being hit in the left wrist at the plate, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Conforto stayed on the ground for about one minute while the Mets' training staff took a look at him. He stayed in the game to run the bases, but Brandon Nimmo replaced him in left field the next inning. The 24-year-old presumably received x-rays, so we should know more about the severity of the injury soon.

Conforto is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets are facing a right-hander in Johnny Cueto and Conforto is coming off a three-hit game after a couple days out of the lineup (against lefties), but there has been nothing yet to suggest an injury is in play. Manager Terry Collins will deploy Curtis Granderson in center field.

Conforto went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and two RBI in Friday's win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Moved down to fifth in the batting order and shifted to right field in place of the resting Jay Bruce, Conforto regained some of the spark he showed at the plate earlier in the year. He had been hitting just .164 (9-for-55) with one home run and four RBI in June prior to Friday's outburst, but he's capable of heating up again at any time.
