Davidson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson homered in all four games against the O's, going 7-for-15 with four homers, eight RBI and five runs scored during the series. This breakout comes after a 10-game homer-less stretch, during which he hit just .139. As long as Davidson, who leads the White Sox with 14 homers, presents a threat to opposing pitchers, he'll continue to get at-bats as the team's primary designated hitter. With very little MLB track record to fall back upon, the question remains whether he can continue being a source of power while maintaining a non-lethal batting average. The 26-year-old is hitting .259 through 52 games, but that's fueled by an above-average .345 BABIP.

Davidson went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in Wednesday's loss to Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
He's now homered in each of the first three games of this four-game set with the O's, and they surely aren't looking forward to facing him yet again Thursday. Davidson's power output remains impressive, but he also struck out yet again Wednesday and remains a liability in batting average. Hitting eighth in the order, as he did in this game, also hurts him in the counting stats.

Davidson went 1-for-4 with a grand slam against Baltimore on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
He's homered in the first two games of this series, driving home six total runs, so the O's surely aren't happy to have two more games against Davidson and the White Sox in this series. The 26-year-old has slugged a dozen homers in 50 games this year, which is an impressive pace, but he's also hitting a meager .245 thanks to a strikeout rate that's approaching 40 percent. While the power is tantalizing, Davidson is not for the risk-averse fantasy owners among us.

Davidson went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Monday's 10-7 win over Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson was in a 1-for-19 slide over the past six games before his multi-hit night. The homer was his 11th round-tripper of the season to go along with 29 RBI over 49 games. Davidson has a dangerous bat and will continue to get the bulk of at-bats as the White Sox's designated hitter, but there's still a lot of swing-and-miss in his game.

Davidson will get a day off for Thursday's series finale against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson has gone hitless in his three previous games (0-for-9 with six strikeouts) and will take a seat in favor of Melky Cabrera, who will man the DH spot Thursday. The 26-year-old has hit .248/.295/.497 this season, with 10 home runs and 25 RBI, but has been plagued with a high strikeout rate that is just under 40 percent.

Davidson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Tigers, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson will hit the bench for the first time in 10 games as manager Rick Renteria gives veteran outfielder Melky Cabrera a day out of the field by slotting him in at designated hitter. While Davidson's 37.6 percent strikeout rate may result in his .259 batting average dropping further while he sees regular at-bats, the 26-year-old should at least remain a serviceable power source.

Davidson started at first base and went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in Saturday's 10-1 loss to the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson's power potential has led to more opportunities for the 26-year-old. He's served as the White Sox's primary designated hitter and also backs up at third base with random starts at first. His 10 homers are tied for the team lead, and he maintains a respectable batting average (.259). How long the White Sox can expect significant returns from Davidson remains to be seen. His 37.6 percent strikeout rate and .356 BABIP suggest we've seen the best of we're going to see out of Davidson.

Davidson went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's 8-1 win over Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson does have eight home runs and 23 RBI in 111 plate appearances as Chicago's main option at designated hitter, but his slash line of .245/.297/.520 leaves a lot to be desired. He's been lucky to have an average that high with an astronomically high 36.9 percent strikeout rate. Davidson will enter his next game riding a five-game hitting streak.

Davidson is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson started the past five games at designated hitter and has acted as the primary option there for the past couple weeks, but given his .118 batting average in the past five games, he'll head to the bench for a night off. Todd Frazier will act as the DH for the evening while Tyler Saladino moves over to man the hot corner.

Davidson went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts serving as the designated hitter in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson does have six home runs on the year but hasn't gone deep since May 11 and has his slash line down to a weak .220/.278/.488. He does have some power in his lumber, but he's not a lineup regular and is striking out a whopping 37.8 percent of the time. Davidson should only be owned in AL-only formats until he proves to be more consistent.
