Davidson went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a run scored in Monday's 7-6 come-from-behind win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson's two-run homer in a four-run eighth inning helped close the Blue Jays' lead to one run before he ended matters with a walk-off single in the ninth. It was the second straight day that Davidson had provided a walk-off hit. We've witnessed a couple of homer-filled stretches out of Davidson already this season, and he appears to be in the midst of another. The 26-year-old has gone yard four times and driven in eight runs over the last eight games.

Davidson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
With Avisail Garcia (thumb) sidelined on the disabled list, manager Rick Renteria has moved Davidson up to a more prominent part of the batting order. He batted clean up for the fourth time in the last six games. We're not sold that Davidson is the third baseman for the White Sox's next competitive window, but he'll get consistent at-bats in the second half to prove he belongs here long term.

Davidson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 3-1 win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson caught all of a Koji Uehara splitter and deposited it 476 feet away on Waveland Avenue, the sixth-longest home run in the majors this season. It was the 19th home run of the season for the 26-year-old third baseman, but just the second one he's hit in the past 22 games. It's safe to assume he'll be a regular in the lineup for the rest of the season after the White Sox traded Todd Frazier to the Yankees.

Davidson is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
As was the case during the first two games of the series, Davidson will open the game on the bench in the White Sox' final game without a designated hitter. He should be back in the starting lineup Friday against the Mariners.

Davidson is out of Saturday's lineup against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
He will once again take a seat in the second game of this weekend's series in Coors Field, as the White Sox don't have the designated hitter spot at their disposal. Look for him to be available off the bench. He may sit again Sunday, but should be back in the fold after the All-Star break when the White Sox host the Mariners.

Davidson is not in Friday's lineup against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
As the White Sox head to a National League park in Colorado, Davidson will take a seat for Friday's series opener. The DH may not get much time at the plate over the course of the weekend, although he's proven to be a decent play this season, bashing 18 home runs and driving in 42 RBI in 2017.

Davidson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson had gone 10 games without a homer before his two-run shot in the fifth inning, his team-leading 18th home run. He's been a nice surprise in 2017, an unlikely boost to some fantasy lineups no doubt, but the batting average is heading south slowly. His monthly splits have been .286, .241, .239 and now .211 through five games in July.

Davidson will get the day off Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson has struggled recently, going 1-for-20 with 13 strikeouts over the past five games. He will get a chance to clear his head before the series against the Rangers, with Kevan Smith taking the DH duties and Omar Narvaez setting up behind the plate.

Fri 6/23/17 7:08 AM

Davidson went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and three runs scored during Thursday's win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Davidson has caught fire of late with seven homers, 11 RBI and 11 runs through his past 10 games. The heater has him up to a respectable .265/.310/.577 slash line for the season with 17 bombs, 38 RBI and 30 runs. Davidson is taking advantage of his consistent playing time, and his fantasy value is trending up.

Davidson stayed hot Saturday, going 2-for-4 with a home run in the win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
He's now gone deep in five of his last six games to raise his home run count to 15 in 179 at-bats this season. Davidson still has an alarmingly high strikeout rate, coming into Saturday with a 38.8 percent mark in that category, but it appears that he's found his power stroke. He'll draw a platoon advantage for Sunday's contest against southpaw J.A. Happ, who is allowing 2.3 home runs per nine innings this season.
