Mat Latos limited the Brewers to one run and three hits in seven innings in a no-decision Thursday. The Reds have to be feeling pretty good about Latos as a No. 2 starter as they head into the postseason. He's 3-0 with a 2.32 ERA over his last six starts.

Mat Latos delivered an outstanding effort in Saturday's win over the Dodgers, scattering six hits over eight shutout innings as the Reds clinched the NL Central Division title. Latos racked up eight strikeouts in the game while walking none. He was in complete command the entire night, and didn't allow a single Dodger hitter to advance past first base in the game. Latos is pitching like the front-line starter they acquired him to be, posting a 13-4 record, 3.60 ERA and 178/62 K/BB ratio in 197 1/3 innings. He'll look to keep rolling when he takes on the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Friday.

Mat Latos pitched pretty well in a no-decision Sunday, allowing four runs over 7 2/3 innings in a 5-4 extra innings win over the Marlins. Latos surrendered seven hits and three walks while striking out eight. It's just the second time in his last 10 tries that the righty hasn't put up a quality start, but today's effort was another good one. Latos will carry a 3.76 ERA and 1.20 WHIP into next weekend's start against the Dodgers.

Mat Latos didn't have his best stuff Monday, allowing three runs on five hits and four walks over six innings in a 4-3 extra innings win over the Pirates. Latos was terribly inefficient, needing 106 pitches to get through the six frames. He did strike out five, but a three-run fourth did him in. He was in line for just his second loss in his last 10 starts, but the offense bailed him out. Latos will carry a 3.72 ERA and 1.20 WHIP into Miami this weekend.

Mat Latos was hammered in a losing effort against the Cardinals on Friday, allowing seven runs on nine hits over his five frames. Latos fanned five while walking one in the game. He allowed single runs in the second and fourth innings before everything came tumbling down in the sixth. Allen Craig delivered the big blow with a three-run bomb after the first two reached in the inning, and Yadier Molina immediately followed with a solo shot of his own. He'll take a 10-4 record, 3.84 ERA and 145/50 K/BB ratio into Arizona where he'll take on the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Mat Latos turned in another impressive performance in a no-decision against the Mets on Tuesday, allowing five hits and a pair of walks over seven shutout innings. Latos struck out four on the evening. Not only did he shut the Mets down for seven innings, but he also contributed with the bat, going 1-for-2 plus a walk in the game. Unfortunately, the Reds couldn't generate any offense either and he walked away with a no-decision. He'll take a 10-3 record, 3.63 ERA and 134/46 K/BB ratio into Sunday's desirable home matchup against the Cubs.

Mat Latos (ankle) expects to make his next start. Latos suffered a mild left ankle sprain in the fifth inning Monday night, but he stayed in the game initially and reported feeling fine when he arrived back at the park Tuesday. The right-hander has a 4.30 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 119 1/3 innings this year.

Mat Latos sprained his left ankle in Monday's start against the Astros. Latos suffered the injury on the mound in the fifth inning. He stayed in the game after throwing some warm-up pitches, but then gave up two runs and was replaced by Jose Arredondo in the sixth inning. Latos said he felt fine after the game, so it doesn't sound like a major concern right now. The Reds will likely know more when he arrives to the ballpark Tuesday.

Mat Latos picked up his eighth win Monday despite lasting just five innings, giving up two runs on eight hits and two walks in an 8-3 victory over the Astros. He punched out three. Latos had looked like he was righting the ship, but he's now put up three less than stellar efforts in a row. He'll bring a disappointing 4.30 ERA and 1.27 WHIP into this weekend's start in Colorado.

Mat Latos pitched decently in a no-decision against the Cardinals on Friday, allowing two runs on four hits over his five innings of work. Latos struck out five while walking three in the game. He struggled with his command a bit, and needed 97 pitches to get through five innings. Latos has now gone 15 starts since losing his last game on April 18 in St. Louis. He'll take a 7-2 record, 4.10 ERA and terrific 103/33 K/BB ratio into his next start against the Diamondbacks at home on Wednesday.
