Stroman (10-6) allowed four runs, none of which was earned, on four hits and one walk while striking out four over eight innings to take the loss Friday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman gave up all four runs in the third inning, but then shut the Pirates' bats down the rest of the way. After struggling slightly in a pair of recent starts, he's allowed two earned runs over his last 14.2 innings to lower his ERA from 3.19 to 3.00, and he's a solid bet to continue being a strong fantasy option. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Rays.

Stroman allowed three runs -- just two earned -- on 11 hits and two walks while striking out six batters through 6.2 innings during Sunday's loss to Houston. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
While the numbers don't jump off the page, Stroman left in line for the victory against a daunting Houston lineup, but Roberto Osuna allowed four runs in the bottom of the ninth to cost Stroman and Toronto the win. Stroman has now allowed just 13 earned runs through 52.1 innings over his past eight outings and sports an impressive 10-5 record, 3.17 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 7.5 K/9 for the campaign. A date with the Pirates at the Rogers Centre is up next for Stroman.

Stroman went 1-1 with a 2.03 ERA in July -- his best such mark for any month of the campaign -- with 25 strikeouts over five starts and 31 innings.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander was effectively wild last month, posting a career-worst 14.5 percent walk rate. It wasn't just free passes that hurt Stroman, as his 19.1 percent strikeout frequency was a season low. That said, opponents' hard-contact rate dropped, and for the first time in his four-year career, Stroman did not give up a home run all month. The 26-year-old will enter August with a 3.08 ERA, sixth-best in the American League.

Stroman was ejected from Thursday's game against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
The young starter had a feud with umpire Will Little after a few close pitches were ruled to be outside the strike zone which ultimately led to his removal. Stroman was in line for the loss upon his removal after going 4.2 innings and allowing three runs on six hits and six walks. He also struck out four.

Stroman allowed a single run on five hits and five walks while striking out seven batters through 7.2 innings during Saturday's loss to Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Considering Cleveland scored 13 runs in Friday's series opener and boast a strong offense, this stands as one of Stroman's best starts of the season. He's found a groove of late and allowed just four earned runs over 34 innings through his past five starts. With a strong 2.98 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 7.5 K/9 for the campaign, Stroman should continue to be viewed as a go-to asset. He projects to make his next start against Oakland at the Rogers Centre.

Stroman allowed three runs -- all unearned -- on five hits and three walks while striking out five batters during Monday's win over Boston. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
There have been a few blips on the radar for Stroman this year, but he's now allowed three runs or fewer in eight of his past nine outings and sports a 3.10 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 7.4 K/9 for the campaign. Those are excellent numbers, and the 26-year-old righty should continue to be viewed as a solid fantasy option moving forward. Stroman projects to face Cleveland at Progressive Field in his next start.

Stroman (9-5) allowed one run on six hits and three walks while striking out six across seven innings to earn the win Saturday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman allowed an RBI double to George Springer, but otherwise kept the Astros bats silent while receiving plenty of run support to earn him his ninth victory of the campaign. He's allowed just three runs over his last three starts to lower his ERA from 3.69 to 3.28, and he remains a strong fantasy option. He'll make his next start at a time yet to be determined after the All-Star break.

Stroman (finger) will be able to make his scheduled start for Saturday's game against the Astros, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman was dealing with a blister following his previous start versus the Yankees on Monday. The right-hander left after just 79 pitches, giving up two earned runs off five hits and two walks while earning the loss. He should be at 100 percent going into Saturday's game with no cause for concern moving forward.

Stroman (8-5) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks across five innings in Monday's loss to the Yankees. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman got off to a rocky start in this one, allowing a pair of runs on two hits, two walks and a hit batsman in the first inning. He settled down after that point, allowing just three hits over the next four frames, but he was checked for a blister by the training staff at one point and later departed with just 79 pitches under his belt. The severity of any finger issues Stroman is experiencing remains to be seen, but he is currently scheduled to start Saturday against the Astros.

In five June starts, Stroman went 2-2 with a 3.69 ERA and 28 strikeouts over 31.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander's ERA continued to rise in June, but his strikeout rations and .240 BAA were Stroman's best so far in 2017. His six home runs allowed were a career-high for any single month, although he still managed to walk away with quality starts in all but one outing. Stroman nears the halfway mark ranking in the AL's top ten for wins (eight), innings pitched (100.1) and ERA (3.41). The 24-year-old is currently on pace to set career-best marks in games started, wins and strikeouts.
