The Twins have shown continued interest in trading for Stroman, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
He tossed seven shutout innings in front of evaluators from eight teams (Braves, Cubs, Dodgers, Padres, Rays, Reds, Red Sox, Yankees), and while the Twins did not have a scout in attendance, Morosi notes that they are among the frontrunners to trade for Stroman. The Yankees were the only team with two scouts at the game, while the other seven teams sent one evaluator.

Stroman (6-10) picked up the win Friday in a 12-1 victory over the Tigers, allowing six hits over seven scoreless innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
If the right-hander was auditioning for other teams' scouts, he could hardly have done more to improve his value to a contender. Stroman threw 63 of 101 pitches for strikes en route to his sixth quality start in his last eight trips to the mound, and he'll take a 3.06 ERA and 93:34 K:BB through 117.2 innings into his next outing -- which, barring a trade, will come when the Jays host Cleveland on Wednesday.

Stroman (5-10) was hit with the loss after surrendering three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings Sunday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman gave up a two-run single in the second inning, and the Yankees took the lead in the bottom of the fifth on a wild pitch. The 28-year-old did turn in a quality start, though his team wasn't able to provide enough offense for Stroman to come away with the win. He owns a 3.25 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 88 strikeouts over 110.2 innings this season.

Manager Charlie Montoyo confirmed Stroman (pectoral) will start Sunday's game against the Yankees, Scott Mitchell of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman completed a bullpen session with no issues Friday to clear the way for his return to the starting rotation. The 28-year-old finished the first half with a 3.18 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 81:31 K:BB over 104.2 innings before the left pectoral cramps prevented him from making his final start prior to the All-Star break.

Stroman (pectoral) said he'll throw a bullpen session Friday before the Blue Jays determine whether he's fit to start Sunday against the Yankees, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman experienced a pectoral cramp in his left (non-throwing) shoulder during his June 29 start against the Royals, prompting the Blue Jays to skip his final turn in the rotation before the All-Star break. While meeting with reporters Monday, Stroman sounded confident that he would be cleared to return for Sunday's game.

Stroman (pectoral) is not listed as one of the Blue Jays' probable starting pitchers this weekend against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman exited his start last week with a pectoral cramp in his non-throwing (left) shoulder and was scratched from Thursday's scheduled outing, and he now won't make another start until after the All-Star break, per Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan. Assuming there's no update to the team's rotation plans, the 28-year-old will finish the first half with a 3.18 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 81:32 K:BB over 104.2 innings.

Stroman (pectoral) will not start Thursday against the Red Sox, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Charlie Montoyo suggested Wednesday that Stroman could get scratched, and that has indeed happened after Stroman left his last start early with a pectoral cramp. Thomas Pannone has been recalled and will pitch the bulk of the innings against Boston. There's a chance Stroman starts a game against Baltimore this weekend, but nothing is official.

Manager Charlie Montoyo said Stroman (pectoral) is still "day-to-day" and not a lock to make Thursday's start against Boston, Scott Mitchell of TSN.ca reports. "We'll see how he feels," Montoyo said.
EDGE Analysis
The skipper said after Saturday's game that Stroman wouldn't miss a start, but it sounds like the team may reverse course and skip the right-hander after all as a precaution. Stroman said Wednesday that his pectoral is "fine," but added that he's thinking long term and feels the extra rest might come at the perfect time. If Stroman is indeed scratched, Thomas Pannone would likely be recalled to make the start.

Manager Charlie Montoyo said Stroman won't miss his next start after exiting Saturday's game with a pectoral cramp, Scott Mitchell of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman was unable to properly get loose due to the cramp and was forced to leave the game after four innings, but it looks as though that will be the extent of the injury. The 28-year-old currently lines up to take the mound Thursday against the Red Sox.

Stroman was diagnosed with a left shoulder pectoral cramp after exiting Saturday's start against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman exited the game with what appeared to be an arm injury, but the diagnosis of pectoral cramp to his non-throwing shoulder is basically a best-case scenario. The 28-year-old allowed three runs over four innings before leaving the game and should have his status updated for Thursday's scheduled start within the next couple days.
