Stroman (7-12) allowed four earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven across six innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman pitched a shutout through four innings, allowing only baserunners in the process. However, his outing was soured by a pair of two-run homers -- one in the fifth inning and the other in the sixth -- to deny him a quality start. While he hasn't worked deep into games since joining his new team, he's pitched fairly effectively across his last three starts by allowing seven earned runs in 15.1 innings. He'll look to avoid the long ball in his next outing, currently scheduled for Sunday at Philadelphia.

Stroman (hamstring) said Thursday that he will make his next scheduled start Tuesday against the Cubs, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
He is not worried about the hamstring tightness he experienced in Wednesday's start and was more focused on his performance, saying, "I think I need to be better. I think I will be better." Stroman has a 4.58 ERA, 1.78 WHIP and 18:10 K:BB in 19.2 innings (four starts) since getting traded to the Mets.

Stroman (hamstring) underwent an MRI after leaving Wednesday's game, and manager Mickey Callaway said the team is "not concerned" by the injury, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman was removed from Wednesday's start after four innings due to left hamstring tightness, and that appears to be the extent of the injury. The 28-year-old could still end up missing a start depending how he feels over the next couple days, but he appears to have avoided a more serious injury.

Stroman was removed from Wednesday's start against the Indians with left hamstring tightness, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman allowed one run on five hits with one strikeout and one walk before being replaced for the start of the fifth inning by Jeurys Familia. More information should be available on the injury as Stroman continues to be evaluated.

Stroman (7-11) picked up the win against the Braves on Thursday, giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits over five innings, striking out five and walking four as the Mets bagged a 10-8 victory.
EDGE Analysis
He labored at times in issuing four free passes and needing 96 pitches to make it through his 5.1 frames, but Stroman did enough to pick up his first win as a Met in his third start with his new team. His 5.17 ERA since arriving from Toronto isn't very impressive, but he's still sporting a solid 3.21 mark over his combined 140.1 innings on the season.

Stroman allowed four runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out nine over six innings Friday night against the Nationals. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman cruised through three scoreless innings to begin the night, but the Nats struck for three runs in the fourth and another in the seventh. Fortunately, the Mets would get Stroman off the hook for the loss by rallying for four runs in the bottom of the ninth. The 28-year-old right-hander has given up seven runs while striking out 12 over 10.1 frames in his first two starts as a Met.

Stroman allowed three runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts across 4.1 innings during a no-decision against the Pirates on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old didn't finish with a terrible line, but it could have easily been a lot worse. Stroman left in the middle of the fifth, and only one of his two inherited runners scored. Furthermore, the Mets rallied to take away the Pirates' lead, getting Stroman off the hook. Stroman is 6-11 with a 3.07 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 102 strikeouts in 129 innings with the Blue Jays and Mets, who he debuted with Saturday, this season. He will make his second start with the Mets on Friday against the Nationals.

Stroman is set to make his Mets debut Saturday after being acquired from the Blue Jays over the weekend. Prior to being traded, the righty compiled a 2.96 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 99 strikeouts in 124.2 innings.

Stroman was traded from the Blue Jays to the Mets on Sunday, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman has put together a stellar season on the hill to this point, posting a 2.96 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 99 punchouts over 124.2 innings with Toronto. Unless the non-contending Mets plan to flip him, he'd immediately bolster New York's starting rotation, likely slotting in behind Jacob deGrom as the team's No. 2 starter. After all, New York would have him under team control for 2020. It remains to be seen who the Blue Jays will receive in return for Stroman.

Stroman (6-11) allowed one run on five hits with one walk and six strikeouts across seven innings while taking a loss against the Indians on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old's bad fortune continued, as he actually lowered his ERA below 3.00 with this performance, and yet he almost has twice as many losses as wins. Stroman has two victories in the last five weeks, and in both games, he didn't allow a run. That seems to be what it takes for Stroman to capture a win. Despite his 6-11 record, he owns a 2.96 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 99 strikeouts in 124.2 innings this season. Stroman will pitch next at the Royals on Tuesday.
