An MRA on Luke Scott's right shoulder revealed no new concerns. Good news, as surgery will remain off the table for now. Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Friday that the team hopes Scott is able to return from the disabled list right around when he's eligible, which is two days following the All-Star break.

Luke Scott is scheduled to undergo an MRA on Friday in Baltimore. Scott is expected to miss a few weeks at the very least, but if the MRA reveals more damage to his labrum, he could require season-ending surgery. Nolan Reimold figures to benefit the most during his absence, though he'll likely share playing time with Felix Pie.

Luke Scott (knee) is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Cardinals. Scott bruised his right knee while slamming up against the outfield wall to make a home-run saving catch Tuesday night. He's still dealing with some swelling, but is available to pinch-hit. Felix Pie will make the start in left field Wednesday and bat eighth against right-hander Chris Carpenter.

Luke Scott left Tuesday's game in the ninth inning with a right knee contusion. Scott injured himself in the top of the ninth while making a terrific home-run saving catch on a Matt Holliday drive. He'll be reevaluated Wednesday but looked to be in some pain and seems likely to miss at least a game or two. O's skipper Buck Showalter has said he'd like to get Nolan Reimold more playing time, so this could be his chance. Felix Pie will also get consideration.
