Luke Scott (knee) is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Cardinals. Scott bruised his right knee while slamming up against the outfield wall to make a home-run saving catch Tuesday night. He's still dealing with some swelling, but is available to pinch-hit. Felix Pie will make the start in left field Wednesday and bat eighth against right-hander Chris Carpenter.
