Severino pitched five innings Thursday, yielding four runs on nine hits and a walk in the 7-4 win over Cleveland. He gave up two home runs and struck out just one batter in the no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old right-hander coughed up a homer to Edwin Encarnacion in the first inning and Jose Ramirez in the fifth. Severino came into Thursday's start with a 10.4 K/9, so the one-strikeout performance was a bit of a surprise. He had lowered his ERA to 1.98 before allowing seven runs across 10 innings in his last two appearances. Severino earned a win in his previous five starts and will look to get back to form next Saturday against the Mets.

Severino (12-2) blanked the Phillies over seven innings Tuesday and was credited with the win. He allowed six hits and struck out nine.
EDGE Analysis
Severino was back to his dominant ways Tuesday following his somewhat shaky start (3 ER in 5.2 IP) against the Mariners last time out. The righty threw 72 of his 103 pitches for strikes and was still pushing 100 MPH with his fastball in his final inning of work. He's earned a winning decision in five of his last six starts and currently owns a dazzling 2.10 ERA. He'll take the mound against the Red Sox on Sunday.

Severino (11-2) picked up the win Thursday against the Mariners, allowing three earned runs over 5.2 innings. He struck out five while allowing eight hits and three walks.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't Severino's sharpest outing, but he did enough to limit the damage and secure his 11th win, which ties him with Corey Kluber for the most in the majors. He surrendered a two-run shot to Kyle Seager in the second and got himself into trouble in the sixth before David Robertson came on to put out the fire. Thursday's outing also snapped Severino's four-game streak with at least seven strikeouts, but it's worth noting he was facing a disciplined Mariners lineup that strikes out at the fourth-lowest clip in the AL. Severino is lined up to face Jake Arrieta and the Phillies in his next start.

Severino (10-2) earned the win against the Rays on Saturday with eight shutout innings, allowing only three hits and two walks while striking out nine.
EDGE Analysis
Severino pitched a gem Saturday, throwing 71 of his 102 pitches for strikes and completely stifling Tampa Bay's bats. The 24-year-old's stellar season continues as he now has a 2.09 ERA and 0.93 WHIP with a 118:25 K:BB over 99 innings, and next lines up to start against the Mariners on Thursday.

Severino (8-1) got the win Wednesday, striking out 11 over seven innings while allowing two runs on four hits and a walk against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Severino was dominant from the get-go, striking out seven of the first nine batters he faced on his way to inducing 15 swinging strikes in all. The 24-year-old has put together a stretch of nine straight quality starts, fanning at least 10 with one walk or fewer in three of those. His eight wins trail only Max Scherzer (nine), and he now boasts 10.6 K/9 to go along with an elite 2.31 ERA and 0.97 WHIP. Next on tap is a road start in Detroit on Monday.

Severino allowed one run on four hits and four walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Mike Trout touched him up for a homer and Andrew Heaney's impressive showing on the other side kept Severino out of the win column, but it was another impressive performance from the 24-year-old. Severino has rattled off eight consecutive quality starts and ranks among the league leaders in every traditional pitching category. He will look to replicate his May 2 shutout of the Astros his next time out, this time at home.

Severino (7-1) allowed three earned runs on eight hits while walking two and striking out six across six innings to earn the win Saturday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
This wasn't Severino's sharpest start as he allowed 10 baserunners, his second-highest mark of any start this season. However, he kept the ball in the park and didn't allow a home run for his fourth consecutive start. That was enough for him to earn the win thanks to the run support he received, placing him in a tie with Corey Kluber for the American League lead in wins with seven. There should be no concern regarding his performance going forward as he has proven himself to be one of the best and most consistent starters around the league.

Severino (6-1) got the win against Oakland on Sunday, scattering five hits and one earned run over six innings, striking out seven and walking two as the Yankees eventually prevailed 6-2.
EDGE Analysis
Severino continued his phenomenal start to the season in picking up his sixth win in his first nine starts, lowering his ERA to 2.14 in the process. He's also got a sparkling 0.90 WHIP to go along with a 70:14 K:BB and he's been pretty much untouchable all year save for one hiccup against the Red Sox back in April, making him one of the more reliable fantasy starters in the early going regardless of the matchup.

Severino (5-1) fired his first career shutout in Wednesday's win over the Astros, scattering five hits and a walk while striking out 10.
EDGE Analysis
He was in command from the jump, as Severino threw 83 of 110 pitches for strikes while generating 17 swinging strikes and starting off 27 of 33 batters with first-pitch strikes. The right-hander has delivered four straight quality starts, and he'll take a 2.11 ERA into his next outing Tuesday at home against the Red Sox.

Severino (4-1) allowed one run on three hits and two walks over seven innings in Sunday's 5-1 victory over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Severino put on a great performance Sunday, as he struck out six batters en route to his second consecutive win. The lone blemish on his effort came in the sixth inning when Teoscar Hernandez slugged a home run. Since the start of the season, Severino has allowed more than two runs just once over five outings and now owns a 2.32 ERA and 0.90 WHIP. His next start projects to be Friday against the Angels.
