Severino allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks over six innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the Astros. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Severino has now delivered three straight quality starts, allowing just three earned runs over 18 innings in that span. However, the veteran righty remains stuck with just one win this season, as the A's bullpen again failed to hang onto the lead after Severino departed. Severino now sports a 3.89 ERA with a 1.23 WHIP and 54:22 K:BB through 12 starts (71.2 innings) this season. He'll hope for better luck his next time out, currently lined up as a home matchup with the Twins.

Severino did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Angels. He allowed two runs on seven hits while striking out five across six innings.
EDGE Analysis
It's the second straight quality start for Severino, though the right-hander still doesn't have a win since April 19, as the A's bullpen would cough up eight runs after Severino departed. Overall, the 31-year-old Severino is 1-4 with a 4.11 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 50:20 K:BB through 11 starts (65.2 innings) this season. He's currently lined up to face the Astros on the road in his next outing.

Severino allowed four hits and a walk while striking out five over six scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Severino bounced back from allowing a season-high eight runs in his last start, posting his second scoreless outing of the year. He threw 67 of 96 pitches for strikes and was just a little better than Landen Roupp in this pitching duel, though neither team scored in the first nine innings and the Giants won 1-0 with a walk-off walk in the 10th. This was Severino's fourth quality start of the campaign. He's now at a 4.22 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 45:20 K:BB over 59.2 innings through 10 starts. Severino can eat innings and provide reliable pitching, but he's had trouble doing both at the same time on occasion this season. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Angels -- he's struggled in Sacramento, posting a 6.75 ERA and 1.50 WHIP over 34.2 innings in six home starts so far.

Severino (1-4) took the loss Sunday against the Yankees, allowing eight runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out two in four innings.
EDGE Analysis
Severino got through the opening frame unscathed but was roughed up for five runs in the second while needing 37 pitches to complete the inning. He made it into the fifth but was relieved after allowing back-to-back singles. Both runners would end up scoring as part of another five-run inning for the Yankees. Sunday was just the second time this season Severino has failed to reach six innings, while his nine hits allowed marked a new season high. Sunday was also the third time Severino has allowed five runs or more in six starts this year. He'll aim to bounce back on the road versus the Giants over the weekend.

Severino allowed four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Severino gave up all four runs in the third inning, but the Athletics quickly got him off the hook by tying the game in the fourth. The four walks matched his season high, and it was the first time in five starts Severino had allowed four or more runs. The right-hander has a 3.62 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 38:17 K:BB over 49.2 innings across eight starts this season. His next start is projected to be at home against one of his former teams, the Yankees, this weekend.

Severino allowed one run on eight hits and one walk while striking out four batters over five-plus innings in a no-decision against Texas on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Severino retired the first six batters he faced before the Rangers loaded the bases against him in the third inning. The veteran righty got out of that jam, however, and he ended up with just one run on his ledger despite allowing multiple baserunners in each of the final four frames in which he appeared. Severino has now yielded exactly one earned run in three of his past four starts, lowering his season ERA to 3.30. He's lined up to face Seattle the next time he takes the mound.

Severino came away with a no-decision in Friday's 6-5 win over the White Sox, giving up three runs on six hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old right-hander blanked Chicago for four innings before both offenses began to wake up, and Severino had to settle for his third quality start of the season when he left the mound after 85 pitches (58 strikes) with the score tied 3-3. After a bumpy beginning to April, he's posted a 2.29 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB over his last three starts and 19.2 innings. Severino will look to keep rolling in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week against the Rangers.

Severino (1-3) earned the win Saturday in Milwaukee after allowing one run on three hits and no walks across eight innings. He struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
In addition to just a single strikeout, Severino generated only five swinging strikes on 92 total pitches, but he consistently worked from ahead in the count and efficiently mowed through the Brewers lineup. The veteran right-hander bucked a three-start losing streak with the performance, though it's already his third outing of the year allowing one or fewer runs. Severino will take a 3.31 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB across 32.2 innings into a favorable matchup versus the White Sox next weekend.

Severino (0-3) allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out six in 5.2 innings in a loss to the Mets on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Severino blanked the Mets through five innings while allowing just two hits. He began the sixth by walking Pete Alonso and was knocked out of the game after an RBI-single by Luis Torrens. Sunday was the first time Severino has not reached six innings in four starts this season, but it was an excellent bounce back performance against his former team after allowing 11 runs (10 earned) in his prior two starts. The 31-year-old owns a 4.01 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 21:10 K:BB in 24.2 innings and lines up for a road start against the Brewers this week.

Severino allowed five runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out three batters over seven innings in a loss to San Diego on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Severino got off to a rough start, surrendering three runs in the first inning. He then held the Padres to just one more run over the following five frames, but a Fernando Tatis solo homer in the seventh inning put him behind 5-3 upon his exit rom the game. Severino had trouble missing bats in the outing -- he notched just two whiffs among his 96 pitches -- but he at least continued to eat up innings for the A's, and he's now gone at least six frames in each of his first three starts. However, his record stands at 0-2, and he's given up four homers over 19 frames while posting a 4.74 ERA and 1.26 WHIP.
