Wright (3-2) pitched 4.2 innings, surrendering six runs on seven hits and four walks on his way to a loss against the Red Sox on Tuesday. He struck out four batters.
EDGE Analysis
Wright imploded in the top of the second inning, giving up all six runs on his line which was capped off by a Rafael Devers grand slam, giving the Red Sox a 6-0 lead. The right-hander matched his season-high with four walks in what was ultimately his shortest outing of the 2022 campaign. After allowing just six total earned runs in his first five starts of the season, four of which were quality starts, the 26-year-old simply didn't have his best stuff Tuesday. Even with the tough outing, Wright's season-long numbers still sit at a 3.03 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 41 punchouts over 35.2 innings in six starts.

Wright (3-1) took the loss in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets, giving up three runs on nine hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander pitched well enough to earn a win, but the Atlanta offense got shut out in the nightcap of the twin bill. Wright has delivered three straight quality starts and four in his five turns through the rotation this season, leading to a 1.74 ERA and 0.97 WHIP, and his impressive 30.6 percent strikeout rate and 5.8 percent walk rate back up that performance.

Wright (3-0) earned the win over the Cubs on Thursday, tossing seven innings during which he allowed one run on three hits and four walks while striking out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Wright continued his upstart campaign with his third quality start, each of which has resulted in a win. The right-hander notched 11 swinging strikes, didn't allow any extra-base hits and finished with eight punchouts. Wright has been so good this season that his ERA actually increased (to 1.13) with the superb performance, as he entered the contest having allowed only two earned runs across his first 17 frames. He has looked like an emerging ace so far in 2022 and will look to keep rolling when he takes on the Mets in New York in his next scheduled start.

Wright (2-0) picked up the win Friday, giving up four hits and a walk over six scoreless innings in a 3-0 victory over the Marlins. He struck out a career-high 11.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old continues to look like one of the year's breakout pitchers, as Wright fired 67 of 95 pitches for strikes in a dominant performance. Through his first three outings of 2022, the right-hander has two quality starts with a 1.06 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and eye-popping 26:2 K:BB through 17 innings.

Wright gave up two runs on five hits while fanning nine across five innings Friday against the Padres. He also hit a batter and did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Wright couldn't keep the opposition scoreless as he did against the Reds in his 2022 debut, but he was similarly dominant with the swing-and-miss. It's still early in the season but his strikeout numbers are eye-popping (15 strikeouts and just one walk through his first 11 innings). Wright is expected to make his next start against the Marlins at home next week.

Wright (1-0) picked up the win in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Reds, scattering two hits and a walk over six scoreless innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
It was a fantastic season debut for the 26-year-old right-hander, who fired 56 of 76 pitches for strikes and didn't allow a baserunner to get into scoring position. Wright is looking to lock down a spot in the Atlanta rotation this year after struggling in multiple stints in the majors over the last four seasons, and he'll try to keep this momentum going in his next scheduled start, Friday on the road in San Diego.

Wright is a frontrunner for one of the final two rotation spots in Atlanta, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has yet to have consistent success at the big-league level, as he has a career 6.56 ERA across 70 innings. Still, he's only 26 years old and also turned in three scoreless innings in his first Grapefruit League outing of 2022. Despite his current standing, Wright has one minor-league option remaining so the team could ultimately opt to rely on Tucker Davidson or Kyle Muller in the rotation to begin the campaign.

Wright gave up three hits and a walk over three scoreless innings in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Rays. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old right-hander is battling with Tucker Davidson and Kyle Muller in camp for a spot at the back of the Atlanta rotation, and Wright might even be a favorite given that he has slightly more big-league experience than the other two. That said, his 6.56 ERA and 1.69 WHIP over 70 innings in the majors isn't a big selling point from a fantasy perspective, but Wright appears to have little left to prove in the minors after posting a 3.02 ERA and 1.18 WHIP across 24 starts for Triple-A Gwinnett last year.

Wright was added to Atlanta's World Series roster Tuesday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright allowed seven runs in 6.1 MLB innings this season and owns a career 6.56 ERA in 70 frames at the highest level. His experience as a starter means he can give Atlanta length if needed, but he's unlikely to see the field except in a blowout.

Wright was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander was hit hard in Wednesday's loss to the Mets, as he gave up five runs on four hits and three walks while striking out one in two innings. Max Fried (finger) is expected to return from the 10-day injured list next week, so Wright will head back to the minors. Right-hander Jesse Chavez's contract was selected as part of a corresponding move.
