Wright (15-5) earned the win against the Astros on Friday, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out seven and walking one over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Wright continued his breakout season Friday, throwing 61 of 84 pitches for strikes and striking out seven Astros batters, which is impressive considering the Astros have the second fewest strikeouts in the league. The righty turned in his sixth quality start in his last seven games. He will take a 3.14 ERA into his next appearance.

Wright (arm) is scheduled to start Friday's series opener against the Astros in Atlanta, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright had been a candidate to start Thursday's series finale with the Mets, but Max Fried (concussion) is on track to be reinstated from the 7-day injured list in time to take the hill against the National League East leaders. Coming out of his last outing Aug. 10 in Boston, Wright experienced some right arm fatigue, but the extended break looks like it's provided him with sufficient time to recover from the issue. He's not expected to face any major workload restrictions when he takes the hill Friday.

Wright (arm) is dealing with right arm fatigue and won't start in the first three games of the upcoming series against the Mets, which begins Monday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright allowed one earned run across six innings during his previous start Aug. 10 in Boston, and he'll have his scheduled turn through the rotation pushed back by at least a couple days. Atlanta has yet to announce a starter for Thursday's series finale, though it remains to be seen if the 26-year-old will be cleared to take the mound. Spencer Strider, Charlie Morton and Jake Odorizzi will start the first three games of the series versus New York.

Wright (14-5) earned the win Wednesday, allowing one run on six hits and one walk over six innings against the Red Sox. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Wright allowed at least one baserunner in five of his six innings, but the 26-year-old was able to work his way out of trouble more times than not. The only blemish for the right-hander came in the fifth, when he allowed back-to-back hits to lead off the inning, but he escaped with only one run allowed after inducing a run-scoring double play from Tommy Pham. It was a solid bounce-back performance for Wright after he allowed a career-high four home runs during last Thursday's loss to the Mets. Across 22 starts (134.2 innings), Wright sports a 3.14 ERA with a 129:39 K:BB.

Wright (13-5) allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four in six innings, taking the loss Thursday versus the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was tagged for a career-high four home runs in the start, which accounted for five of the six runs he surrendered. This was just the second time all year he's given up six runs in a start, as he's often been one of Atlanta's most consistent pitchers. He hadn't taken a loss since June 18 versus the Cubs. Wright now has a 3.22 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 124:38 K:BB through 128.2 innings. The right-hander's next start is projected to be a road game in Boston next week.

Wright (13-4) earned the win Friday against the Diamondbacks after allowing two runs on five hits with five strikeouts and two walks in 6.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Wright allowed single runs during the fourth and fifth innings but otherwise kept Arizona off the board. It was the right-hander's fourth consecutive quality start, and he's picked up a victory in each of those contests. Wright has won six of his past seven outings dating back to mid-June, and he has a 2.93 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 32:10 K:BB over 43 innings during that stretch.

EDGE Analysis
Atlanta jumped out to an early 5-0 lead which allowed Wright to cruise through six easy frames, surrendering single runs in the fourth and fifth while avoiding any sizeable scoring threats. The 26-year-old has logged three straight quality starts -- reigning victorious each contest -- and now sits alone behind Justin Verlander with 12 wins on the campaign. Wright carries a 2.95 ERA and 1.16 WHIP into his next start, scheduled for next weekend against Arizona.

Wright (11-4) earned the victory Thursday in Washington, striking out four in seven innings while allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk.
EDGE Analysis
Wright allowed a first-inning homer to Josh Bell and gave up singles to the first three batters he faced in the second, leading to the second run against him. He held the Nationals scoreless over his final five frames, retiring the side in order three times. Over his last four starts including Thursday, the 26-year-old is 4-0 with a 2.16 ERA in 25 innings despite allowing four homers and having a 15:7 K:BB. He closes out the first half with a 2.95 ERA through 110 innings after posting a 6.56 ERA in 70 combined innings over his first four big-league seasons.

Wright (10-4) earned the win during Saturday's 4-3 victory over Washington, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks with five strikeouts in seven innings.
EDGE Analysis
Wright limited the damage to a Juan Soto solo shot through six frames but surrendered a Yadiel Hernandez home run in the seventh and walked Soto before being yanked in the eighth. Soto eventually came around to score, but Will Smith was able to keep the lead, bringing Wright into a tie for third in the majors with 10 wins. The 26-year-old was efficient in requiring only 84 pitches to surpass seven frames and induced an impressive 13 swinging strikes, though keeping 66 pitches in the strike zone led to 10 baserunners allowed. Wright is slated to take the mound in a road rematch with Washington next week.
