Parker signed a minor league deal with the Reds on Tuesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
A former first round pick, Parker was released by the Rockies earlier in the month after a poor spring showing followed a disappointing 2015 campaign. He'll likely report to the Triple-A level and will serve as outfield depth within the Cincinnati organization.

Parker was released by the Rockies on Friday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The former top pick of the 2010 draft for the Rockies was released by the team after batting .222 with two RBI in 27 at-bats this spring. He was with Colorado in spring training as a non-roster invitee. Parker has only received 132 at-bats in the majors during his career, and has just 24 hits and 12 RBI with 51 strikeouts. The 26-year-old may land with another club but is not likely to be of any fantasy value in 2016.

Parker cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parker was designated for assignment on January 20 to make room for Gerardo Parra on the 40-man roster, and no suitors stepped forward during his waiver period. If he chooses to accept, he'll spend 2016 mostly in Triple-A sitting behind a logjam in the Colorado outfield. Otherwise, he can choose to decline the assignment and see if a change in scenery is what he needs to succeed. Either way, it'll be tough for Parker to find his way back into the major league conversation soon.

Parker has been designated for assignment by the Rockies on Wednesday, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies needed to clear a spot for the recently-signed Gerardo Parra, and Parker was the casualty due to the crowded nature of their outfield. The former first-round draft pick batted a mere .179 with three home runs, 11 RBI, and a whopping 33% strikeout rate in 46 games with the Rockies in 2015. He's expected to draw plenty of interest from other teams thanks to his power potential, so he may end up in a completely different organization by spring training.

Parker went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Parker has been seeing more time with the Rockies completely out of it and he desperately needs the at-bats. In 44 games this season, Parker is batting a putrid .181 with 37 strikeouts in 105 at-bats. The youngster had some nice numbers in Triple-A, but he'll need to show more at the upper level to stick around next season.

Parker looks on track to see a reduction in at-bats following Corey Dickerson's activation from the disabled list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Though Dickerson didn't start in left field in Tuesday's loss to the Padres, Parker was excluded from the lineup in favor of Ben Paulsen, who had been squeezed out of his own everyday role at first base after Justin Morneau's recent activation. With Dickerson expected to play close to a regular basis from here forth and Ben Paulsen and Brandon Barnes seemingly ranking as his preferred backups, Parker may be limited to pinch-hitting duties the rest of the way. The former first-round pick has struggled mightily for the second straight season at the MLB level, producing a .167/.226/.321 batting line and striking out in 31 percent of his plate appearances.

EDGE Analysis
Parker has struggled at the plate, as he now owns just a .178 average on the year. Justin Morneau will return off the disabled list and get the start at first base, while Ben Paulsen will shift to left field and bat seventh.

Parker is out of Thursday's lineup against the Giants, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parker's poor offensive production recently appears to have cost him playing time, now sitting for the third time in five games. Ben Paulsen will move out from first base to start in left field, while Wilin Rosario will enter the lineup at first base.

Parker is out of the lineup Monday against the Diamondbacks, Dargan Southard of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parker has really hit a slump at the plate recently, going 0-for-16 in the past seven games. AS a result, he's started losing playing time in left field, and will cede the duties to Brandon Barnes once again Monday.

Parker was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. With Corey Dickerson and LaTroy Hawkins both coming off the DL on Thursday, the Rockies needed to clear space on the 25-man roster, so both Parker and Christian Bergman will head back to Triple-A. Parker, who was recalled Tuesday, saw action as a pinch hitter in Wednesday's loss to the Cardinals. He notched a single in his lone at-bat.
