Kiermaier went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Yankees. Kiermaier is wrapping up an excellent month of April, in which he's hitting .306/.338/.565 with 11 runs and seven RBI. The 25-year-old is still limited fantasy-wise given a lack of stolen bases and home runs, but he's at least establishing himself as a person the Rays are fine with trotting out nearly every day.

Kiermaier is out of the lineup Saturday. With lefty Daniel Norris on the mound for the Blue Jays, the A's will attempt to flood the lineup with righties, leaving Kiermaier on the bench. He will be available later in the game as a pinch-hitter or as a defensive replacement. Desmond Jennings will slide over to center field with Brandon Guyer starting in left.

Kiermaier (illness) is back in the lineup Wednesday against the Red Sox. Kiermaier had been out of the lineup each of the previous three games as he dealt with an illness, but he appears to be over the ailment now. The 25-year-old will assume center field duties and bat eighth in the lineup.

Kiermaier (illness), who is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, said he is 100 percent healthy, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay TImes reports. Kiermaier is only out of the lineup because the Rays are facing a left-handed starter. He'll be available off the bench and will likely get in to the game.

Kiermaier (illness) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, Roger Mooney of The Tampa Tribune reports. With the Rays facing Red Sox lefty Wade Miley, it's possible Kiermaier's absence from the lineup has nothing to do with the illness that bothered him over the weekend. On the other hand, Tampa Bay is using Rene Rivera as the designated hitter, which is far from optimal even with the platoon advantage.

Kiermaier (illness) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees, Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Kiermaier continues to deal with an illness, which will hold him out of the starting lineup for the second straight game. He should be available off the bench if needed for a short burst late in the game, but manager Kevin Cash will roll with Brandon Guyer, Desmond Jennings and Steven Souza in the outfield to start things off.

Kiermaier is out of the lineup Saturday against the Yankees, Steve Carney of WDAE 620 AM Tampa reports. Apparently, Kiermaier is not feeling well, though manager Kevin Cash did say the outfielder may be available later in the game. Desmond Jennings will return to center field Saturday as David DeJesus leads off against right-hander Masahiro Tanaka.

Kiermaier is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Blue Jays, Bill Chastain of MLB.com reports. With left-hander Daniel Norris on the bump for Toronto, manager Kevin Cash has stacked his lineup with right-handed bats. Brandon Guyer will get the nod in left field and lead off Tuesday, with Desmond Jennings in center and Steven Souza in right. Kiermaier has jumped around the order in the early going but should be in there against all right-handers moving forward.

Kiermaier is a late addition to the Rays' lineup Tuesday. After James Loney was scratched after suffering a minor injury during batting practice, Kiermaier was slotted into the new lineup in center field. Unfortunately Kiermaier remains at the back of the Rays' lineup in the nine hole, which will continue to limit his value going forward.

Kiermaier is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports. With southpaw Wei-Yin Chen on the mound for Baltimore, Brandon Guyer is leading off and starting in left field, while Desmond Jennings will slide over to center field. This will likely be the normal alignment against lefties, with Kiermaier in center and Jennings in left against right-handers. Kiermaier batted ninth on Opening Day, but with John Jaso (wrist) expected to miss the next few games, Kiermaier could be a candidate to bat leadoff against right-handed pitching. The Rays aren't expected to face another lefty until next Wednesday in Toronto.
