Kevin Kiermaier went 4-for-4 with a grand slam that gave the Rays all of their runs Wednesday against the Royals. The slam off Yordano Ventura was the first of his young career. He had been off to a 4-for-31 start this month, but he's still been a nice surprise for the Rays and it doesn't look like he'll be headed to the bench anytime soon.

Kevin Kiermaier went 3-for-5 with his seventh homer Monday against the Yankees. Kiermaier has more homers in 113 major league at-bats this year than he ever hit in any of his four minor league seasons. In 2012, he went homerless in 192 at-bats, most of them coming in the FSL. Last year, he had six homers in 508 at-bats between Double- and Triple-A. Kiermaier is a first-rate defensive outfielder, so as long as he hits, he has to play. The Rays aren't going to mess with things.

Kevin Kiermaier went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Orioles. Kiermaier has now homered on back-to-back days. He's played consistently throughout June and rewarded the Rays with solid production, as he is now slashing .306/.350/.583 with six home runs and 12 RBI in 118 plate appearances.

Kevin Kiermaier went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run as the Rays defeated the Astros 5-0 on Thursday. Kiermaier gave the Rays some insurance runs with a seventh-inning home run off of Paul Clemens. He hasn't played much, but when he has, he's hit. Kiermaier is slashing .316/.366/.618 with four home runs and six RBI in 82 plate appearances.

Kevin Kiermaier went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored Friday against the Mariners. Another nice night at the plate for the 24-year-old. He's now hitting .406 (13-for-32) with three home runs, three doubles, one triple, one stolen base, and four runs scored through 13 games with the Rays this season. We wouldn't count on much power moving forward, but Kiermaier has speed and should get plenty of playing time in right field while Wil Myers (wrist) is sidelined. He should be scooped up in AL-only leagues by now.

Kevin Kiermaier went 3-for-3 with a solo homer in Thursday's loss to the Marlins. He also drew a walk, reaching base in all four plate appearances. Kiermaier is known mostly for his glove, but he's given the Rays plenty with the bat this season. The speedy outfielder has three homers over his last six starts and is batting .379/.419/.828 overall across 31 plate appearances. He'll continue to see a good amount of playing time with Wil Myers out for a while and should be rostered in AL-only leagues.

Rays recalled OF Kevin Kiermaier from Triple-A Durham. Kiermaier has three hits over 12 at-bats during a couple brief stints with the big club this season. He's up mainly because of his excellent outfield defense.

Kevin Kiermaier hit his first big-league homer Sunday off the Angels' Matt Shoemaker. The homer came in his 10th at-bat for the Rays. He's not much of a power hitter, though; he had just 15 homers over 1,438 at-bats over parts of five seasons in the minors. The odds are against him getting enough playing time to be relevant in AL-only leagues.

Rays recalled OF Kevin Kiermaier from Triple-A Durham. Kiermaier made his debut with the Rays earlier in the year, going 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in limited action. He will function as depth in the outfield while Ben Zobrist is sidelined.

Rays optioned OF Kevin Kiermaier to Triple-A Durham. Kiermaier was only up in the bigs for a couple of days and went hitless with two strikeouts in four at-bats. The 23-year-old should get another look later this summer.
