Kiermaier (wrist) will have surgery on Tuesday and is expected to miss 8-10 weeks, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old was posting decent numbers for the Rays through 38 games this season, hitting .236 with five home runs, 16 RBI, 18 runs, and six stolen bases. The outfielder will now miss significant time and shift his focus to recovering from surgery.

Kiermaier will have his broken left hand examined Monday in St. Petersburg by team specialist Dr. Doug Carlan, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The results of the exam will likely dictate whether or not Kiermaier will need surgery, which Topkin reports will be highly likely if the two fractures Kiermaier suffered to the metacarpal bones on the back of the hand are displaced. Current estimates place the 26-year-old outfielder out for a minimum of two months. Kiermaier is slashing .236/.307/.447 over 123 at-bats this season.

Kiermaier (hand) was placed on the 15-day DL Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier, who was held out of Sunday's lineup, is facing an extended absence due to multiple fractures in his left hand. With no firm timetable for return, it appears Desmond Jennings will see an uptick in playing time until further notice.

Kiermaier is out of the lineup Sunday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
After making 14 straight starts in center field, Kiermaier will get a regular day off in favor of Desmond Jennings. Look for the regular outfielder to return to action when the Rays open up a three game set with in-state rivals Miami on Monday.

Kiermaier has been diagnosed with two fractures in his left hand, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is devastating news for Kiermaier and the Rays as it appears that the star outfielder will miss a significant amount of time. He suffered the injury on a diving play in center field during Saturday's game when he landed awkwardly on his glove hand. He is set to be reevaluated in St. Petersburg on Monday, at which point the Rays should have a timeline available. Desmond Jennings will likely take over in center field while Kiermaier is sidelined, but Topkin is also reporting that outfielder Mikie Mahtook could be a candidate to be recalled.

Kiermaier exited Saturday's game against the Tigers with an apparent wrist injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier suffered the injury on a diving attempt going after a James McCann fly ball. As he landed, he appeared to roll over with his arm pinned underneath him. He immediately left the field and headed for the clubhouse while favoring his left wrist. Desmond Jennings has entered the game to take Kiermaier's place in center, and if Kiermaier's injury proves to be serious, the Rays will be without one of the best defensive center fielders in the game. More information on Kiermaier's status figures to be made available later Saturday.

Keirmaier went 1-for-4 with a bases-clearing triple in Friday's 7-5 victory over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old broke a 3-3 deadlock by blasting a shot to deep right that plated Evan Longoria, Steve Pearce and Logan Morrison. Kiermaier is currently stuck near the bottom of the order, but now has an eight-game hitting streak and has an impressive 10 RBI in May.

Kiermaier went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI, walk and three runs scored in Tuesday's 12-2 victory over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
The light has seemingly gone on for the Rays offense as a whole the last couple of games, and Kiermaier was no exception to the rule in Tuesday's blowout win. The performance marked his first multi-hit effort since back on April 29 versus this same Blue Jays squad, and extended his current hitting streak to six games. Despite the stellar outing, the 26-year-old has actually taken a step back in May, with his season average dropping 11 points to .239 to date this month.

Kiermaier went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The shot off Ubaldo Jimenez in the sixth inning broke a 1-1 tie and proved to be the deciding factor in the Rays' win. After a slow start, Kiermaier has turned it on over the past week or so, going 9-for-28 with three home runs over his last eight games. He continues to bat eighth against right-handed pitching.
