Kiermaier went 3-for-4 in Thursday's 2-0 victory over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old is enjoying what is his finest month by far this season, as he's now slashing .324/.412/.568 over 74 September at-bats. Thursday's outing also serves as his sixth multi-hit effort since the turn of the calendar, while his five homers since Sep. 2 represent his best monthly figure in that category as well.

Kiermaier went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a walk and two runs in Wednesday's 8-1 victory over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old outfielder took the struggling Marco Estrada deep in the fourth with a 358-foot shot, plating Logan Forsythe. Kiermaier is enjoying a productive September that has included a power surge, with five of his 12 round-trippers on the season having come over the 48 at-bats he's tallied this month. He now has five multi-hit efforts over that span, along with a .375/.455/.729 line that has boosted his season average (.250) to its highest point since Apr. 30.

Kiermaier is out of the lineup Saturday against the Yankees, the Tampa Bay Times' Marc Topkin reports.
EDGE Analysis
He had started the last 18 games, hitting .342/.383/.566 with four home runs and four steals over that stretch, so his hold on the center field job is as strong as ever. Mikie Mahtook will spell him Saturday, however, hitting eighth against right Masahiro Tanaka.

Kiermaier went 4-for-5 with a pair of solo homers in Thursday's 5-4 loss at Yankee Stadium.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier and teammate Steven Souza Jr. each hit a pair of homers, accounting for all of Tampa Bay's offense. The 26-year-old outfielder hadn't homered against a southpaw all year, so it's surprising that both of his long balls came against veteran lefty CC Sabathia. He has heated up recently with at least one hit in each of the past 12 games, and three homers in the last two.

Kiermaier went 3-for-4 with a homer and a two-run single to spur the Rays to a 7-6 win over the Orioles on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
All of Kiermaier's RBI came in the first four innings while Orioles' starter Dylan Bundy was still in the game. The homer was Kiermaier's ninth of the year, and the three RBI brought his season haul to 32. Although he's hitting just .240, Kiermaier is now riding a 10-game hit streak.

Kiermaier went 1-for-4 with a run and a pair of stolen bases in Monday's 7-3 loss to the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old outfielder is in the midst of his best stretch of the season at the plate, with hits in nine straight games. Kiermaier has also hit safely in 13 of his last 15 contests overall, with three doubles, a triple, a homer and four RBI over that span. While the overwhelming majority of his hits have been singles, Kiermaier has managed to raise his average to its highest figure since May 27 with the aid of his current streak.

Kiermaier went 3-for-5 with a run in Wednesday's 8-6 loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old now has a five-game hitting streak and finished August with seven multi-hit efforts. Kiermaier managed to bring his average up 20 points to .228 since August 1, after a forgettable July in which he slashed .143/.333/.214. Despite a long absence earlier in the summer due to a wrist injury, he's now just four homers away from eclipsing his career-best figure of 10 that he's managed in each of his previous two seasons.

Kiermaier (hip) is in the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier was unable to start the last two games due to his sore hip, but he will be back in the lineup Monday after seeing action off the bench in Sunday's contest. Kiermaier will man center field and hit second in the Rays' batting order Monday night.

Kiermaier (hip) entered Sunday's game prior to the eighth inning as a defensive replacement and went 1-for-1.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier was not ready to play a full nine innings Sunday, but he was at least feeling good enough to see some action. With him able to take the field Sunday after sitting out a game, he should have a chance to return to the lineup in the Rays' next game Monday against the Red Sox.

Kiermaier (hip) remains out of the lineup Sunday against the Rangers, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kiermaier was removed from Friday's game due to hip tightness, and the ailment will end up costing him back-to-back starts, at least. Sunday would have been a good day to rest the center fielder anyway, however, as the Rays find themselves matched up against lefty Martin Perez. Consider Kiermaier day-to-day heading into Mondays series opener against the Red Sox.
