Gausman (shoulder) might make another rehab appearance before being activated from the DL, MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is not welcome news to owners, who originally thought the Orioles might activate Gausman as soon as April 10. Now he seems likely to be pushed back yet again. Gausman has allowed three runs -- one earned -- on eight hits with three walks and 10 strikeouts in 5.1 innings during his two rehab appearances thus far. The Orioles benefitted from a rainout Sunday and an off day Monday and that could push Gausman's return to next weekend. In order to make that happen, the Orioles would have to give Gausman a shortened start this week before calling his number to replace Vance Worley or Mike Wright in the rotation.

Gausman (shoulder) will pitch Friday at High-A and could rejoin the Orioles as soon April 21, MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gausman pitched two innings Sunday and was hit with a comebacker in his knee, an injury that was reportedly just a bruise. If all goes well, Gausman would likely slot in for a home start next Thursday against the Blue Jays. It seems like he will be lined up to take Vance Worley's rotation spot.

Gausman (shoulder) suffered a bruise on his left knee after getting hit by a comebacker in his rehab start at Double-A Bowie on Sunday, Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
In his first minor league rehab start, Gausman recorded a pair of scoreless innings while striking out two and walking one. After throwing 36 pitches Sunday, Gausman will likely need a minimum of two more rehab starts before he's ready to return to the Baltimore rotation.

Gausman (shoulder) will make a rehab start at Double-A Bowie on Sunday, Eddie Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gausman was initially slated to throw Saturday, but he'll instead take the hill Sunday as he continues to work back from a shoulder injury. Barring a setback Sunday, the plan is for Gausman to make a start at High-A Frederick on Friday.

Gausman (shoulder) will make a second rehab start for High-A Frederick on Thursday, April 14, Rich Dubroff of ComcastSportsNet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gausman is making a rehab start this Saturday at Double-A Bowie but the Orioles decided one more tune up would be ideal to prepare him for his return to the majors. By giving Gausman another start in the minors next week, it gives the the 25-year-old a chance to regain his command and build his confidence against lower competition. After showing signs of improvement last year by posting a 8.25 K/9 and 1.23 WHIP over 112.3 innings, the prospect is there that 2016 could be a breakout year for the young righty.

Gausman (shoulder) will pitch Saturday with Double-A Bowie, Steve Melewski of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gausman threw a side session Tuesday, and apparently it went off without a hitch as he'll now advance to live game action. The club will likely want him to make another rehab start in addition to Saturday's, but he remains on track to rejoin the big league team in mid-April.

Gausman (shoulder) is on track to join the Orioles on April 19, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gausman will throw a side session Tuesday, and if all goes well, he will advance to game situations. The Orioles want Gausman to make both a three-inning appearance and five-inning appearance before he rejoins the big league club, but barring any setbacks he should be back with the Orioles in mid-April.

Gausman (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day DL on Sunday, Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gausman's DL will be eligible to return from the DL as soon as April 10, but it's unclear if he'll be ready to appear in games by that point, as his right shoulder tendinitis still remains an issue. He's since resumed throwing, however, so there's a good chance he'll be back at some point in April.

Gausman (shoulder) is hopeful that he'll be able to return in mid-April, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gausman's DL stint is backdated to March 25, so he'll be eligible to return as early as April 10. It sounds as though it's possible he'll require a bit more time than that, as the 25-year-old indicated he'd need between two or three weeks after the start of the season, but it appears as though he'll be able to return some time during the season's opening month.

Gausman (shoulder) will open the season on the disabled list but could still pitch as early as April 10, Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gausman's DL stint will be backdated to March 25, enabling him to return earlier in the season than simply 15 days after Opening Day. It will also likely prevent the team from having to add another starter in his place, as the expectation is that he'll only miss a turn or two before joining the rotation.
