Wilson did not allow a baserunner in a scoreless inning of work against Minnesota on Tuesday. He struck out two in the outing.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson has been hit hard in the month of May as he's compiled a 10.50 ERA over 6.0 innings but he's now put together two perfect outings. Thanks to 12 scoreless appearances he manufactured to start the season, the 28-year-old still has a healthy ERA and WHIP to go along with his team-leading 10 holds.

Wilson has five holds in six appearances and has fired eight strikeouts in 5.3 innings of work.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson is tied for the AL lead in holds and sports a 0.00 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and opponents are hitting just .167 against him. Roster him up in leagues that count holds -- his ability to strike guys out enhances his value in a big way.

Wilson is working to add a slider to his arsenal of pitches, reports Detroit News.
EDGE Analysis
He has relied mostly on a cutter as his off-speed pitch, but it usually clocks at 91 mph. His fastball ranges in the upper 90s and Wilson fires that pitch about 80 percent of the time. A slider would be a better option, as it would likely hit the radar gun in the mid-80s. Wilson says his health and arm-strength are right on track at this point in the spring and the Tigers will rely on him and Mark Lowe for the seventh and eighth innings. He should deliver a strikeout every inning he pitches and should support those of you who count holds.

Wilson and the Tigers agreed to terms on a $1.525 million deal for next season, avoiding arbitration, Chris Iott of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson came over from the Yankees in a December trade after making 74 appearances and posting a 3.10 ERA in 61 innings for New York in 2015. The 28-year-old figures to hold down a steady relief role for Detroit in 2016, possibly as a set-up man in front of Francisco Rodriguez.

The Yankees agreed to trade Wilson to the Tigers on Wednesday, Jon Morosi of FOX Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Luis Cessa is one of the two prospects believed to be headed to New York in the deal. The 28-year-old Wilson has done well for himself since breaking into the majors in 2012, posting a 3.03 ERA and relatively even splits against left- and right-handed hitters. Chasen Shreve could step into the top lefty setup role for the Yankees in his absence.

Wilson surrendered a run on a hit and a walk, while recording two outs in Thursday's win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson has mostly been a seventh inning option for manager Joe Girardi, with the lefty called upon to face both righties and lefties. He's recorded 27 holds on the season, but otherwise won't factor into the decision much, with Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller accounting for nearly all of the team's saves.

Wilson recorded two outs before surrendering a solo home run in the eighth inning of Wednesday's win over the Angels. The blast ended a string of 14 straight scoreless appearances for Wilson, dating back to May 24. With Andrew Miller still on the shelf with a forearm issue, Wilson has filled in as manager Joe Girardi's preferred eighth inning option, and has mostly thrived thus far in his new role.

Wilson retired the only two batters he faced in Saturday's win over the A's. Wilson got off to a rough start to the season, but has started to turn it around of late as he's turned in scoreless outings in his last three appearances and in seven of his last eight. Still, the lefty's ERA stands at 5.17, and he's unlikely to see too many high leverage situation out of the Yankees' bullpen.

Wilson recorded his first win as a Yankee on Monday, pitching a scoreless inning with a strikeout against the Rays. Wilson has struggled a bit with his command in the early goings of the season as he's sporting a 7:5 K:BB ratio and a 4.05 ERA in 6.2 innings. Manager Joe Girardi hasn't hesitated to use him as the lefty has already appeared in 10 games, but they tend to be brief outings and earlier in the game, rendering him without much fantasy value outside of deeper AL-only formats.

Wilson has pitched seven scoreless innings this spring, striking out eight with just one walk. Wilson was acquired by the Yankees in November as part of the trade that sent Francisco Cervelli to Pittsburgh, and figures to slot in as another left-handed arm out of the bullpen. The team also added southpaw Andrew Miller over the offseason, so he's likely to see the higher leverage situations of the two lefties, but Wilson should present a solid option in the earlier innings.
