Wilson tossed a perfect ninth inning Sunday against the Padres, earning his sixth save of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson struck out the first two batters before getting pinch hitter Chase d'Arnaud to line out to second base, sealing the come-from-behind victory for the Tigers. He's now 6-for-7 in save opportunities and is enjoying a 1.06 WHIP across 28.1 innings (30 appearances) this season.

Wilson (3-3) allowed the game-winning run Tuesday against Seattle. He allowed one hit and one walk, while retiring just a single batter.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson got the Tigers out of a jam in the bottom of the ninth inning, but he was less effective in the 10th. He started the inning by walking Nelson Cruz, then threw a wild pitch to allow a pinch-runner to get to second. Kyle Seager followed that up with a game-winning double. Wilson has allowed runs (and taken the loss) in two of his last three appearances, but with a solid 2.96 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 12.8 K/9, he should be pretty firmly entrenched as Detroit's closer for the foreseeable future.

Wilson (3-2) pitched a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts to position himself for the win during Thursday's victory over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run home run in the bottom half of the frame to seal the win for the Tigers and Wilson. The reliever has had some ups and downs since establishing himself as the Detroit closer, but with a 2.67 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 13.0 K/9, he's remained a solid fantasy asset. Wilson projects to continue piling up saves and adding the occasional win going forward.

Wilson (2-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Diamondbacks. In an inning of work, he allowed one run on a hit and a walk.
EDGE Analysis
The walk didn't end up hurting him, but the hit was a solo home run by David Peralta to break a 6-6 tie in the top of the ninth inning. Wilson had thrown five consecutive scoreless innings before this hiccup, and with a 2.77 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 12.8 K/9 this season, he's still a solid fantasy bullpen option who should rack up a decent number of saves moving forward.

Wilson (2-1) picked up the win Sunday against the White Sox. He allowed a single hit in a scoreless inning of work, while striking out one.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson pitched a clean top of the ninth inning, then grabbed the win when Justin Upton blasted a walk-off home run in the bottom half. Wilson had a hiccup against these same White Sox on May 27, allowing three earned runs in an inning of work, but he's pitched three scoreless innings across three appearances since then. He also grabbed two saves and a win during those three appearances, and he remains a fairly solid fantasy option out of the bullpen.

Wilson struck out two batters during a scoreless ninth inning to collect his fifth save of the season during Wednesday's win over Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
It hasn't been a cakewalk for Wilson of late, and while he's converted four of his past five save opportunities, he's also allowed five runs (5.40 ERA) through 8.1 innings over his latest eight appearances. He's sporting a helpful 14.3 K/9 for the season and has grabbed a save in each of his past two outings without allowing a run.

Wilson notched his fourth save in Monday's 10-7 win over the Royals, pitching a scoreless ninth and issuing a walk.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old rebounded from a rough night against the White Sox on Saturday when he'd given up three earned runs on four hits over an inning. Wilson was able to turn in his first hitless appearance since May 13, disposing of the potent trio of Lorenzo Cain, Eric Hosmer and Salvador Perez after walking Mike Moustakas to start the frame. The lefty has been a bit inconsistent since taking over the closer's role following the demotion of Francisco Rodriguez, but he's now notched three saves in the four opportunities he's received during that span.

Wilson gave up a hit and a walk in Wednesday's save chance against Baltimore, but he struck out two and closed it out successfully.
EDGE Analysis
That marks save No. 3 for the lefty since taking over for Francisco Rodriguez, and it's a good one for his psyche because Wilson just blew a save Tuesday against these same Orioles. His stats this year are nothing short of spectacular -- a 1.50 ERA, 0.61 WHIP and 30 strikeouts in 18 innings -- so fantasy owners should feel pretty confident that he's going to hold on to the ninth-inning role successfully.

Wilson blew his first save of the season in Tuesday's 13-inning loss to the Orioles. He allowed an earned run on one hit across 1.1 innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Wilson came on to get the last out of the eighth inning, then returned for the top of the ninth. He got the first two Baltimore hitters, but then Mark Trumbo took him deep to tie the game. Wilson still has an elite 1.59 ERA, 0.53 WHIP and 28 strikeouts in 17 innings, and with Francisco Rodriguez struggling mightily, Wilson should have a pretty firm hold on the closer's role for the time being.

Wilson mowed through the ninth inning in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Angels, striking out the side to record his second save.
EDGE Analysis
The Tigers' new designated closer performed his job to perfection, setting down Danny Espinosa and Cliff Pennington on swinging strikes while also catching Martin Maldonado looking. It was the 29-year-old lefty's first save since officially supplanting Francisco Rodriguez for the ninth-inning role and extended his streak of scoreless appearances to five. Wilson now sports a sparkling 1.15 ERA and 0.51 WHIP, while also boasting an excellent 26:4 K:BB over 15.2 innings.
