Juan Uribe is in the starting lineup Tuesday for the first time since July 22. Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times writes that Juan Uribe's roster spot with the Dodgers could soon be in jeopardy. Uribe is hitting just .193 with a .545 OPS in 164 plate appearances this season and has only played once in the past week. Adam Kennedy (groin) is expected to be activated from the disabled list on Friday, so the Dodgers could part ways with him as soon as this week. The 33-year-old is still owed $7 million next season and $1 million in deferred payment in 2014.

Juan Uribe had a huge day in Saturday's win over the Mets, going 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, two walks and three runs scored. Uribe's two-run double in the top of the third snapped a 1-for-38 skid. He later added a two-run homer off R.A. Dickey in the top of the ninth inning. It was his first multi-hit game since June 15 while the four RBI were a season-high.
