Dodgers placed 3B Juan Uribe on the 15-day disabled list with left wrist soreness. Uribe first started having problems with his wrist in mid-April, and he missed a week or action in late April and early May after the issues resurfaced. Now that they're back again, the Dodgers have decided it's best to shut him down for at least a couple weeks. Elian Herrera has been called up to replace him, and he could share time at third base with Adam Kennedy.

Juan Uribe (wrist) is back in Monday's lineup against the Giants. Uribe hasn't started in a week while nursing an injury to his left wrist. The 33-year-old is hitting just .262/.308/.311 in 64 plate appearances and could continue to lose playing time to Jerry Hairston, Jr.

Juan Uribe is out of Wednesday's lineup after aggravating his left wrist on Tuesday. Uribe sat out Tuesday's game after aggravating the wrist during batting practice. Dodgers' manager Don Mattingly said it's "worse" than the injury that caused him to sit out a couple games last month, so a stint on the disabled list is a possibility. However, the Dodgers are expected to wait a day or so before making a decision. Jerry Hairston, Jr. will start in his place Wednesday.

Juan Uribe went 4-for-4 with three RBI in the win over the Braves on Monday. Uribe had one RBI and no runs scored in 11 games this season before driving in three and scoring twice tonight. Until we see some power -- none of his hits tonight went for extra bases -- we wouldn't recommend using him in NL-only leagues.

Juan Uribe will not see a specialist for his ailing left wrist. The Dodgers considered the possibility, but they are convinced that the issue is minor. Uribe will try to take batting practice Friday and could be back in the lineup at some point. Jerry Hairston, Jr. will fill in at third base for now.

Juan Uribe went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in Thursday's win over the Pirates. Uribe started the season ice-cold, but now has six hits in his last 14 at-bats. Still, his RBI single barely made it out of the infield and he has yet to collect an extra-base hit this year.
