Juan Uribe finished 3-for-5 with a double, a solo homer and two runs scored in the Dodgers' victory over the Giants on Tuesday. Coming off a surprisingly good 2013 season in which he accrued 4.1 WAR, Uribe is hitting the ball on the button right now. He's slashing .379/.379/.621 with two homers and eight doubles thus far. That slash line is going to plummet when this hot streak subsides, because he's ridden it despite a truly dreadful 14/0 K/BB rate.

Juan Uribe went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in the Dodgers' win over the Padres on Tuesday. Uribe sandwiched two singles around a fourth inning double, coming around to score on a Dee Gordon single. The third baseman has seven hits in his first 17 at-bats this season after a sneakily productive 2013 in which he hit .278/.331/.438. Uribe isn't a high-end fantasy option, but owners could do worse.

Juan Uribe had an RBI single and a two-run homer in Thursday's Cactus League win over the Diamondbacks. The longball came off of D'Backs right-hander RJ Hively. Uribe re-signed with the Dodgers over the winter and will operate as the starter at third base again. However, the club could eventually promote Erisbel Arruebarruena and slide Hanley Ramirez over to third if Uribe struggles.

Dodgers re-signed 3B Juan Uribe to a two-year, $15 million contract. The Marlins, White Sox and Rays all expressed interest in Uribe this winter, but he wound up re-signing with the team that he's spent the past three seasons with. Uribe is expected to start at third base for Los Angeles in 2014 with Hanley Ramirez sticking at shortstop.

The two-year agreement between the Dodgers and Juan Uribe is for around $15 million, reports Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti was previously quoted as saying he'd made a few different offers to the 34-year-old, and it appears one resonated. The Marlins, White Sox and Rays also had interest in the third baseman. Uribe's return also means Hanley Ramirez will be staying at shortstop instead of potentially sliding to the hot corner.

The Dodgers have retained Juan Uribe on a two-year deal, a source tells Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. No word on the financial terms of the deal. Uribe had been drawing interest from the Marlins, among others, this winter after slashing .278/.331/.438 last season. The Dodgers had previously been rumored to have offered the 34-year-old a one-year deal with an option, so it seems they stepped up their offer to retain the third baseman.

Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports that the Marlins remain interested in free agent infielder Juan Uribe. The Marlins have a gaping hole at third base, and believe that the veteran third baseman could be a good fit. The Rays, Dodgers and White Sox are all known to have interest in his services as well.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Rays are interested in Juan Uribe. Rosenthal says Uribe would play mostly first base for the Rays but also fill in at second and third base on occasion. The Dodgers have reportedly offered Uribe one year with an option for a second year, while the White Sox are offering a two-year deal. It's not clear what the parameters of the Rays' offer would be. Uribe batted .278/.331/.438 with 12 homers over 132 games this past season while playing good defense at third base.

According to Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes, the Dodgers have offered Juan Uribe one year with an option for a second year while the White Sox are offering a two-year deal. Rojas adds that Uribe is close to making a decision. FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal has mentioned the Marlins as a possibility, but it looks like they aren't a serious threat.
