Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports that the Dodgers and White Sox are "pushing hard" to sign Juan Uribe. Rojas adds that other teams are in the mix, which jibes with a report from FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal that the Marlins have interest. Uribe batted .278/.331/.438 with 12 homers over 132 games this past season while playing excellent defense at third base. He should be able to land a multi-year deal.

David Vassegh of AM570 radio in Los Angeles reports that the White Sox are attempting to sign Juan Uribe. The White Sox have no clear plan for the hot corner, and Uribe could provide stability at the position if Marcus Semien isn't deemed ready. The 34-year-old infielder spent five seasons with the White Sox from 2004-2008, where he slashed .251/.293/.431 with 87 homers and 324 RBI.

Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports that the Marlins have reached out to Juan Uribe about playing third base or first. Frisaro says Uribe is one of the names on the Marlins' list as they attempt to find a "proven run producer." The 34-year-old surprised this past season by hitting .278/.331/.438 with 12 homers over 132 games. He's said to be looking for a three-year deal and could wind up back with the Dodgers.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that Juan Uribe is seeking a three-year contract. Heyman notes that the Dodgers are interested in bringing Uribe back, but they might not be willing to give the infielder three years. Even with very few third basemen available, Uribe might not be able to get three years from anyone. The 34-year-old did have a nice bounce-back season in 2013, hitting .278/.331/.438 with 12 homers over 132 games while playing good defense.

Juan Uribe went 2-for-6 with a two-run single in an extra-inning loss to the Cardinals in Game 1 of the NLCS on Friday. Uribe continues to swing a hot bat for the Dodgers this postseason. He now has three straight game with two hits and two RBI. Unfortunately for the Dodgers, they couldn't scratch any other runs across against Cardinals' pitchers on Friday.

Juan Uribe smacked a go-ahead, two-run homer in the eighth inning of Monday's win over the Braves. Uribe was initially asked to bunt in the one-run game following a leadoff double by Yasiel Puig. He failed in two attempts, though, and then was allowed to swing away, drilling a hanging David Carpenter slider over the left field wall. Uribe also had a double on the night and batted .375/.375/.813 for the series.

Juan Uribe crushed solo home runs in his first three at-bats in Monday's win against the Diamondbacks. Uribe capped back-to-back homers with Andre Ethier in the second, went deep again in the third and extended Los Angeles' lead to 7-1 via his third solo shot in the fifth. Including an infield RBI single, Uribe finished 4-for-4 with four RBI. The Dodgers launched six homers in all, with Andre Ethier, Adrian Gonzalez and Hanley Ramirez also going deep. The Dodgers improved to 84-59.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said late Saturday that Juan Uribe will remain the Dodgers' third baseman in the wake of the Michael Young trade. The Dodgers acquired Young from the Phillies on Saturday night (along with cash) for left-hander Rob Rasmussen, but they are going to treat Young as a utilityman. Uribe and Young are fairly similar players at this point anyway.
