Juan Lagares went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in Thursday's loss to the Rockies. Lagares picks up where he left off before his hamstring injury landed him on the disabled list. Batting .314 entering the game, his two-hit outing beefs up his average to .327. It would be shocking if he kept up this level of production all season, so those who own him in NL-only formats should enjoy it while it lasts.

Mets activated OF Juan Lagares from the 15-day disabled list. Lagares wound up missing exactly 15 days with a strained right hamstring. The 25-year-old outfielder returns Thursday to an impressive .314/.345/.471 batting line and should again have value in NL-only fantasy leagues.

Juan Lagares (hamstring) played seven innings in a minor league rehab game with High-A St. Lucie on Sunday without any issues. He finished the day 1-for-4 with a strikeout while manning center field defensively. He's eligible to be activated from the disabled list as early as Wednesday, but it appears as though the Mets will wait until the weekend series in Colorado to bring him back.

Juan Lagares (hamstring) has played in two extended spring training games. Mets manager Terry Collins said Saturday that he's hoping Lagares will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Las Vegas during the team's May 1-4 series in Colorado, though he admits that timetable "was just a guess." Regardless, it's looking like Lagares will have no trouble returning early next month as long as he can avoid a setback.

Juan Lagares (hamstring) has begun running at the Mets' spring training complex. It's a good sign given that Lagares landed on the DL just a week ago. He's eligible to return on April 30, and it sounds like he might have a shot to be back at that time.

Juan Lagares told the Newark Star-Ledger that his pulled right hamstring is "not that bad." "I feel better now," Lagares said. Lagares received the results of his MRI Wednesday and met with the Mets' trainer to talk about treatment plans. He said he believes the injury is a one-to-two week injury, suggesting that he could be back after the 15 days are up. The Mets, however, are going to be cautious with their center fielder.

Mets placed OF Juan Lagares on the 15-day disabled list with a pulled right hamstring. It's not clear what exactly the MRI on Lagares' hamstring revealed, but obviously it was bad enough that a disabled list stint was needed. How long Lagares will be sidelined is up in the air. Kirk Nieuwenhuis has replaced Lagares on the Mets' roster.

Mets manager Terry Collins said Tuesday that a roster move with Juan Lagares (hamstring) won't be made until he returns from an MRI. He's expected to officially land on the DL soon, as the Mets are already listing Kirk Nieuwenhuis in Tuesday's lineup. Lagares was injured during Monday's game while running to first base.
