Josh Reddick left Friday's Cactus League game against the White Sox with a sprained left ankle. Reddick appeared to slip while fielding a Paul Konerko fly ball in the second inning. No word yet on the extent of the injury, or on how long it may sideline the slugging right fielder. The Athletics should release an update on his status after the game.

Josh Reddick launched a solo homer in Sunday's loss to the Tigers. Reddick's eighth-inning blast off Joaquin Benoit briefly gave the A's the lead, but the bullpen coughed it right back up and ultimately lost the game. The outfielder struck out in his other three plate appearances and has whiffed six times in the first two games.
