Jay went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Jay has now scored two runs in three of his last four games. He's primarily been batting leadoff for the Cubs, and he's playing most days as he's seemed to earn the trust of manager Joe Maddon. It doesn't hurt that Jay is batting .295 with a .378 on-base percentage, which makes him a threat to score plenty of more runs atop a strong Cubs lineup before the regular season is over.

Jay went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Jay was an effective leadoff hitter in a critical divisional matchup. Jay now has a .290 average and .375 on-base percentage, making him a good bet to rack up the runs whenever he's atop the strong Cubs lineup.

Jay went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Jay batted ninth in this one, but he's batted leadoff for the Cubs often this season. With a .286 average and .372 on-base percentage, the 32-year-old outfielder has been a good tablesetter for the Cubs when he's been atop the lineup.

Jay is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Jay has recorded five hits and scored three runs over his past three starts, but he'll receive a breather as the Cubs close out their series against Lance Lynn and the Cardinals. Kyle Schwarber draws the start in left field, batting fifth.

Jay is starting in center field and batting leadoff in Sunday's lineup against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Jay slides over to center after starting in left on Saturday, but he'll be batting leadoff for the second day in a row and the fifth time in the last six games. Atop a strong Cubs lineup, Jay offers plenty of run-scoring potential if he can reach base.

Jay is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Jay has started three of the last four games for the Cubs, but it will be Albert Almora that occupies center field in Joe Maddon's Sunday lineup. Jay was on a bit of a cold streak in mid-August, but has bounced back by going 13-for-38 (.342) at the plate since Aug. 22. He had a four-hit effort in the series opener, and has hit safely in each of his last four starts.

Jay is out of the lineup against the Braves on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Jay retreats to the bench following a 4-for-5 day at the plate during Thursday's win over Atlanta. With a plethora of mouths to fed, manager Joe Maddon gives Ian Happ the start in center for the second contest of a four-game set.

Jay went 4-for-5 with a triple and two runs scored Thursday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Jay could be the victim of a playing time crunch with the rest of Chicago's bats getting healthy, but he's done his best to earn more looks with 10 hits and eight runs scored in his past five starts. The left-handed hitting outfielder is a good source of runs when he plays, as he's usually penciled in at the top of the order for an explosive offense.

Jay is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
With manager Joe Maddon making room in the lineup for second baseman Tommy La Stella for a fourth consecutive contest, Ben Zobrist will move to the outfield, leaving no room for Jay. It's the fourth time in six contests that Jay will be on the bench, and with Addison Russell (foot) nearing a return from the disabled list, it may soon become even more difficult for Jay to find steady at-bats.
