Gray (4-3) allowed four runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out six in 5.2 innings. He took the loss in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader versus San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Gray was effective through five innings, but an error and two walks loaded the bases in the sixth. Robert Stephenson relieved Gray and allowed a grand slam to Victor Caratini, leaving Gray with his third loss in eight starts. The right-hander has pitched fairly well so far with a 2.93 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 44:19 K:BB in 46 innings this season. His next start is tentatively scheduled as a rematch in San Diego next week.

Gray (4-2) earned the win Wednesday against the Giants after giving up two runs on four hits with eight strikeouts and two walks across six innings.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander surrendered a two-run homer to Brandon Crawford during the second inning, but he otherwise kept San Francisco off the board. Gray is off to a strong start this season with a 3.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 38:16 K:BB over 40.1 innings through seven outings.

Gray (3-2) allowed five runs (four earned) on nine hits and one walk while striking out three across six innings to take the loss Friday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
This was Gray's worst start of 2021; he allowed a season-high four earned runs. The damage came in the third inning in which he surrendered four straight hits with two outs, followed by a throwing error by Josh Fuentes, resulting in a four-run inning. Other than that, he pitched well and managed to get through six innings. The 29-year-old has had a good start to the season with a 3.15 ERA and 34.1 innings pitched through six starts.

Gray (3-1) earned another win Sunday against the Phillies, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Gray allowed two early solo home runs to Bryce Harper but otherwise held the rest of the Phillies lineup quiet en route to his third victory of the season. Four of Gray's five starts have come at the hitter-friendly Coors Field thus far but he's managed to go 3-0 with a 1.85 ERA and owns a 24:11 K:BB through 24.1 innings. His next scheduled start is set to be Friday versus the Diamondbacks, a team he picked up his first win of the season against after allowing one run over 6.2 strong innings back on April 8.

Gray (2-1) earned the win against Houston on Tuesday, pitching 6.2 innings and allowing one run on three hits and four walks while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
Gray's control wasn't at its peak in the contest -- he walked four batters for the third time in his past four games -- but he navigated around the baserunners to notch his second quality start of the campaign. The veteran picked up his second win and lowered his season ERA to 2.42 in the process. After posting an ugly 6.69 ERA across 39 innings last year, Gray has bounced back with a solid start to the 2021 season. He'll look to keep it going Sunday when he faces the Phillies at Coors Field.

Gray (1-1) took the loss against the Dodgers on Wednesday, pitching four innings and allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
Gray was victimized by Justin Turner in the contest, as the Dodgers' third baseman plated two of the three runs against the veteran right-hander with a single and a home run. Gray opened the campaign with a pair of strong starts, so, in spite of Wednesday's disappointing outing, he still owns a 2.87 ERA on the season. He'll look to improve upon that mark when he faces Houston at home Tuesday in his next scheduled start.

Gray (1-0) earned the win Thursday after holding the Diamondbacks to one run on two hits and four walks while striking out five across 6.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Despite an average fastball of 92.8 mph, among the lowest in 125 career appearances, Gray worked in his slider to make things unpredictable. Clearly it worked as the 29-year-old gave up just one run for the second time this season, taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning. Meanwhile, he recorded his 700th career strikeout, good for fifth all-time on the Rockies leaderboard. Next up, Gray heads to Los Angeles on Wednesday for a rematch with the Dodgers. Last time out, he held the Dodgers to one run across five innings, striking out seven.

Gray (full body cramping) is expected to make his next start, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Word out of Colorado is that Gray is fine after he left Saturday's game with full body cramping. Gray more than held his own in a brutal home matchup against the Dodgers in his 2021 debut, allowing only one run on four hits while striking out seven over five innings. He has a more favorable matchup this coming week against the Diamondbacks, but it's at home, and it's still difficult to feel good about Gray against any opponent at Coors.

Gray exited Saturday's start against the Dodgers with full body cramping, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old delivered five scoreless frames before giving up a leadoff double to Corey Seager to open the sixth inning, and the right-hander promptly exited after being visited by the athletic trainer. Seager came around to score, so Gray ended up allowing one run on four hits and one walk with seven strikeouts across five innings. He should be considered day-to-day and may not miss a start since it appears to be a minor issue.

Gray allowed seven runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out one over 2.1 innings in Wednesday's spring win over the Brewers. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Gray gave up a solo home run to Kolten Wong in the first inning, and Wong also hit a liner off Gray's right hand in the third inning before he gave up six more runs in the frame. Gray said that he'll be sore for a few days, but he didn't sound too concerned about the hand, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports. The right-hander has posted a 9.90 ERA with 10 strikeouts in 10 innings across three spring starts.
