He's going through his most dominant run of the season.

Through 18 starts, Gray is sporting a 3.67 ERA, which matches the career-best ratio he posted in 2017. Sunday's outing may have been Gray's last with the Rockies, as the impending free agent is sure to be a popular target in trade talks leading up to Friday's deadline. If he isn't moved, the right-hander tentatively lines up to start the Rockies' game that day in San Diego.
